He has been the Project Manager on major Live Television Productions such as both the 46664 Concerts in South Africa, President's Cup Golf Tournament at Fancourt, Cape Town International Jazz Festival, 2002 Cricket World Cup in South Africa, as well as the Two Oceans and Cape Town Marathons.
10 Years experience as Outside Broadcast Camera Operator at the South African Broadcast Corporation.
Since 2008, Jonathan works as an Aerial Cameraman & Technician on the Cineflex, GSS, Shotover and StabC systems. He has been factory trained in the above systems and operates the Cineflex, GSS, Shotover, StabC systems and any Remote Head on tracking vehicles or cranes, with ease. Jonathan also does all the aerial work for live TV broadcasts on SABC TV and SUPERSPORT. He is the only live aerial operator in Africa.
Jonathan is the co-owner of a production company called 339South, which specializes in the live streaming of events.
Jonathan is a qualified Helicopter and Microlight Pilot.
