‘Worst Roommate Ever’ Acquired By Blumhouse In A First For Both Film & TV; ‘Furious’s Chris Morgan On Board
Exclusive: Blumhouse has acquired the rights to adapt the New York Magazine article “Worst Roommate Ever” about a serial squatter and murderer in what will be the first project developed simultaneously for both film and television. Chris Morgan from the Fast & Furious franchise is on board to develop the feature.

The story, written by William Brennan — who will serve as an executive producer on both projects — is about Alex Miller who let Jed Creek into her Philadelphia apartment, not having a clue he was actually Jamison Bachman, a notorious serial squatter and the ultimate Craigslist nightmare. In an expensive and frightening ordeal that dragged on for months, Bachman slowly laid claim to Alex’s apartment, using his intricate knowledge of tenancy laws to stay one step ahead of her. He kicked down doors, attacked her and left her feeling unsafe in her own home.

Five Michigan Teens Denied Bail by Judge in Connection to Overpass Death of Young Father of Four
Five teenagers, who were arrested in connection with the rock-throwing death of a Michigan man last week, were denied bail by a judge during their arraignment on Tuesday.

The teenagers, whose ages range from 15 to 17, have been charged as adults with second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit second-degree murder and malicious destruction of property, according to MLive.

They were arraigned before Genesee District Judge William H. Crawford II in connection with the death of Kenneth Andrew White, 32.

Alexander Miller, 15, Mikadyn Payne, 16, Trevor Gray, 15, Mark Sekelsky, 16 and Kyle Anger, 17, arrived in court Tuesday wearing grim expressions.

Five teenagers have been charged as adults following the death of a Michigan man.

Kenneth Andrew White was killed after a rock smashed through the window of the car he was in on Oct. 18.
