Chloe Coleman is an American actress known for her emotionally rich performances and impressive versatility, making her a highly sought-after teen talent. Of African, Eastern European, and English descent, her distinctive look and honest portrayals make her a standout across all genres. Coleman began her career at age five and has steadily built a diverse and impressive body of work, acting opposite some of the industry's most renowned talent.

Her breakout role came at age six as Skye Carlson in HBO's Emmy-winning limited series Big Little Lies (2017), appearing alongside Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Zoë Kravitz under the direction of Jean-Marc Vallée & Andrea Arnold. Her performance earned a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination as part of the ensemble cast, marking her early as a young talent to watch. In 2019, The Hollywood Reporter named her among its rising stars.

Coleman was hand-picked by Academy Award-winning director James Cameron to portray Young Lo'ak in Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). The film grossed $2.32 billion globally, becoming one of the highest-grossing films of all time-a notable achievement for a young actor. This role, filmed over a few years, offered Coleman the rare opportunity to explore playing a male character through performance capture, speaking Na'vi language.

She's perhaps best known for her role as Sophie in Amazon Studios' action-comedy My Spy (2020), where she starred opposite Dave Bautista. The film ranked as one of the top three most-watched SVOD releases in the U.S. in 2020. She reprised the role in sequel My Spy: The Eternal City (2024), which follows Sophie as a teen, navigating high-stakes espionage with Bautista. Known for doing her own stunts, Coleman trained extensively for the role, contributing to her reputation as an emerging action star.

In 2023, Coleman appeared in three high-profile projects: 65 (2023), a sci-fi thriller directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, where she starred as Nevine opposite Adam Driver; Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023), playing Kira Darvis alongside Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Hugh Grant; and Pain Hustlers (2023), a Netflix crime drama directed by David Yates, where she portrayed Phoebe, the teenage daughter of Emily Blunt's character.

Additional starring roles include Gunpowder Milkshake (2021), featuring Karen Gillan and Michelle Yeoh; Universal's romantic comedy Marry Me (2022) with Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson; Disney+'s Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made (2020), directed by Academy Award-winning director Tom McCarthy; and a recurring role as Nevaeh in Amazon's sci-fi comedy Upload (2020), directed by Greg Daniels.

Coleman recently wrapped filming on the independent feature Mouse (2025), appearing opposite Sophie Okonedo and Katherine Mallen Kupferer. The film was directed by breakout talents Kelly O'Sullivan and Alex Thompson, the creative duo behind Ghostlight (2024).

She is the eldest daughter of Stephen Coleman, an Emmy-nominated camera operator, and Allison Chase Coleman, a four-time Emmy-winning producer and DGA member. Her younger sister, Mia Coleman, is also an actress. Chloe grew up immersed in storytelling and developed a deep respect for the craft and collaborative nature of filmmaking.
