After a national commercial & co-starring role on a YouTube series that got 13 million views in months, L.A.'s Cory Kirk starred in the feature length horror "The Perfectionist Hairstylist". The film's in the same vein as "It" meets "The Call" and sheds light on financially strapped and stressed out parents' victims. The film will be streaming to worldwide audiences by year's end. A team player with writing and producing credits, Cory has been working with L.A. film colleagues through Illusion Islands Production, and recently acted in the Eric Roberts-starring movie "The Private Eye". Clean cut, unique DJ-like voiced and nuanced Cory has played an array of roles in Tinseltown, showcasing his far stretching character range and his "Joey Tribbiani meets Jim J. Bullock" comedic persona. Cory is commitment meets originality when he delivers. Cory's trained with seasoned veterans through Warner Loughlin, CalArts, Universal, "The Graduate" director Mike Nichols student Jack Cook and UCB, just to name a few. He was a gold medaled actor growing up and nationally awarded cheerleader and athlete before arriving to L.A. and now brings his own powerhouse of talents to studio lots across town. Cory co-starred in the period piece Amazon Prime series "The Last Tycoon" starring Matt Bomer and he played pivotal and stirring roles in film festival winner "Bad Bet" and Funny or Die's front page feature "Ex Bros". Repped by Tiauna Jackson of Century City's The Jackson Agency, Cory's mission is to help worldwide audiences feel and discover a common thread of humanity that transcends language, cultural and ideological barriers. Cory embodies and understands today's struggles thereby creating striking performances that scream out with cultural relevance. From working with L.A. film crews to prepping for pilot season, Cory has an all-encompassing catalog of classic rock info and is witty with a Jim Carrey-ish disposition. His movie knowledge is top notch as well and he's the guy who, as a kid, read "Growing Up Brady" and Judy Garland biographies in bookstore and library aisles. Still, he continues to learn and soak up the comedic styles and lessons from sitcoms and films from today to yesteryear. Cory's a big "Mom", "Grace and Frankie", "Shameless", & "Veep" fan, appearing on the latter two; and he hosts and DJs in the spirit of Andy Cohen meets Bill Maher. All this while creating his own newness in delivery and style.

As a teen, Cory won consistently at weekend acting tournaments and learned the trade from coach Doug Withiam.

Cory challenged his youth center and middle school&#39;s constitutions and became the first male cheerleader in his town. As a fourth grader, he was only allowed to cheer inside a Tiger mascot costume his mom sewed for him. But 100-degree summer Saturday afternoon weather did not bode well for Cory who was near heat exhaustion cheering inside the fur costume. So in fifth grade Cory challenged his youth center and became the first male cheerleader. Also, in sixth grade school officials legally amended old rules so males could tryout for the 7th-12th grade squads. Cory made it each year and was &quot;Captain Kirk&quot; to his squad-mates as they won cheer competitions frequently. He was featured in American Cheerleader magazine as Top Cheerleader and won numerous cheer scholarships and titles. Graduating in 2011 from Oklahoma State University, a cheer powerhouse, Cory brings his talents to Hollywood sound stages now.

Dennis Scott, veteran stunt coordinator and actor, is a close, family friend.
Also, Cory is cousin to LA photographer Tony Donaldson.

Actor/DJ Mimi Chen proclaimed Cory as a talented up-and-coming actor with classic rock wits to boot, live on 100.3 FM The Sound LA Summer 2015.

Cory is a 5-year stage actor for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios-Hollywood. He was cast in the highest ever rated 2013 Insidious maze and met the sequel&#39;s cast and crew when they visited the maze on the weekend the movie opened at #1. He nabbed a reprise role in the Insidious 3 maze for the 2015 season.
