Follow 2025 Movie Ending Explained: Was The Romance Ever Real?
Image
Juegos de Seducción is the kind of movie that a certain Indian filmmaking duo called Abbas-Mustan would have loved to rip off a quarter century ago, without giving any credit, of course. By the look of it, Follow seems like a film that’s a bit too smart, but truth be told, it’s nothing but your usual scam movie. And that’s not entirely a bad thing; in fact, I would even say a little less of that real estate mumbo jumbo and some more spice would have helped the cause. Anyway, my job here is to simplify Follow for y’all, as you are probably a bit confused after the ending. Let us jump in.

Spoilers Ahead

What Happens in the Movie?

It takes a while for you to get what’s really happening in Follow, as its opening fifteen minutes are all exposition and narration. Anyway, Sebastian...

La Liga: Real Madrid on the road, Xavi in the stands for Round 2 matches (Preview)
Image
Madrid (Spain), Aug 17 (Ians) The second round of matches in the new La Liga season gets underway with two matches on Friday, with Mallorca at home to Villarreal and newly-promoted Las Palmas visiting Valencia’s Mestalla Stadium.

Villarreal’s poor pre-season form carried on into their opening game as they lost 2-1 to Real Betis. Quique Setien’s side is clearly missing players such as Samuel Chukwueze and Nicolas Jackson, whose sale has robbed them of pace and goals in attack.

Valencia have the youngest squad in La Liga after another summer without new signings, and coach Ruben Baraja has to make do with youngsters, reports Xinhua.

Valencia kicked off with a win against Sevilla last weekend, and although the Mestalla fans are likely to vent their anger at club owner Peter Lim once again, three more points would give Baraja’s men a good cushion ahead of what could be a difficult campaign.

Valladolid down, Osasuna into Europe on dramatic last day of La Liga season
Image
Madrid, June 5 (Ians) Valladolid were relegated from La Liga to the Spanish second division, Liga Smart Bank, in a dramatic finale to the season.

Valladolid ended with a 0-0 draw at home against Getafe. Coupled with other results, this led to their relegation, despite spending parts of the second half out of the relegation zone, as Almeria momentarily trailed away to Espanyol, reports Xinhua.

The games began at 9 pm local time with six teams in danger of relegation, but each held their destiny in their hands.

Despite Valladolid’s inability to penetrate a strong Getafe defense, a defeat for Almeria away to Espanyol, who were relegated last week, would have been enough to save Valladolid from the drop, simultaneously sending Almeria down.

El Bilal Toure put Almeria ahead after 10 minutes, but Javi Puado equalized three minutes later. When Romael Pierre-Gabriel gave Espanyol the lead in the 49th minute, Almeria found...

Real Madrid, Barca both lose as Vinicius sees red in Valencia
Image
Madrid, May 22 (Ians) Real Madrid endured another setback this week, succumbing to a 1-0 defeat away to Valencia.

Thanks to a first-half goal from young striker Diego Lopez, Valencia practically ensured their continued place in the top-flight, reports Xinhua.

Lopez struck just past the half-hour mark, capitalizing on a mishit shot from Justin Kluivert. This ultimately awarded his team all three points against a significantly changed Madrid lineup, a stark contrast from the one that suffered a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in Wednesday’s Champions League match.

Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili showcased a series of exceptional saves to clinch the victory.

However, the match will also be memorable for off-field incidents. Madrid winger Vinicius Jr was provoked into an angry reaction following a racist insult from a fan in the stands and had to be placated by both rivals and teammates.

In the 96th minute, Vinicius Jr was shown...

Ten things learned this week in Laliga Santander
Image
New Delhi, April 11 (Ians) There was a lot of Spanish football action this past week, from the Copa del Rey semi-final second legs to a thrilling Laliga Santander Matchday 28 that was packed with goals and coaching changes.

Here are 10 of the top stories, from Samu Chukwueze’s remarkable performance at the Santiago Bernabeu to important coaching changes at Rcd Espanyol and Real Valladolid.

Samu Chukwueze is one of the most in-form players in Europe

Villarreal Cf earned a memorable 3-2 win when they visited Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Saturday, and Samuel Chukwueze was by far the star of the show. The Nigerian forward scored his team’s first, created the second and then fired in a stunning third to earn the three points. Atletico close gap on Real Madrid in La Liga, while Almeria and Cadiz take big wins
Image
Madrid, April 10 (Ians) Atletico Madrid remain third but moved to within two points of Real Madrid in La Liga thanks to a 2-1 win away to Rayo Vallecano in a Madrid derby on Sunday night.

Goals from defenders Nahuel Molina and Mario Hermoso after 21 and 23 minutes put the game swiftly under Atletico’s control, with Molina dedicating his goal to striker Angel Correa, whose father died earlier in the week, reports Xinhua.

Rayo’s task was made harder when defender Florien Lejeune was sent off for hauling down Alvaro Morata with half an hour to play.

Fran Garcia’s powerful left-foot shot in the 84th minute gave Rayo hope of a point, but Atletico held firm for their ninth league win in 11 games.

On Saturday, Real Madrid were beaten 3-2 at home by Villarreal to lose any slim hopes of retaining the title.

Samuel Chukwueze scored twice and assisted as...

La Liga: Barca waste chance to move 10 clear as none of top four win in Spain
Image
Madrid, Feb 27 (Ians) Fc Barcelona wasted a chance to move 10 points clear at the top of La Liga when they lost 1-0 away to Almeria.

El Bilal Toure’s 23rd-minute shot, which went in off the underside of the bar, led to the only goal of the game as the forward found space between the Barcelona defenders, reports Xinhua news agency.

What followed was an exercise in frustration for Barca who tried, but failed to create clear chances against a rival that had lost three consecutive matches and started the game in the relegation zone.

Xavi Hernandez commented post-match that it was his side’s worst display of the season.

The result ends a dreadful week for Barca, who were knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday night as they wasted the chance to take an almost definitive grip on La Liga after a 1-1 draw between second-placed Real...

La Liga: Real and Atletico Madrid draw 1-1 as Cadiz, Valencia take important wins in Spain
Image
Madrid (Spain), Feb 26 (Ians) Fc Barcelona can go 10 points clear at the top of La Liga on Sunday if they win away to Almeria after Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Atletico Madrid.

After a dull first half, where the main incident was a cruciate ligament injury suffered by Atletico left back Reinildo Mandava (who will miss the rest of the season), Atletico were reduced to 10 men in the 64th minute after Angel Correa was sent off for an apparent elbow in the chest of Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger.

Despite being down to 10 men, Atletico took the lead in the 78th minute through Jose Gimenez’s header from a set piece on Saturday night.

It looked as if Atletico were on for an unlikely three points, but Real Madrid’s young forward, Alvaro Rodriguez equalized five minutes from time from Luka Modric’s corner,...

Atletico de Madrid are back: Simeone leads his team back to winning ways
Image
New Delhi, Feb 21 (Ians) As the Atletico de Madrid fans left the Estadio Civitas Metropolitano on Sunday night, it felt just like old times.

They’d just seen their team win 1-0 against Athletic Club, thanks to an Antoine Griezmann strike and thanks to a solid defensive performance that allowed Los Colchoneros to collect yet another clean sheet.

Since the World Cup, Atleti have earned five clean sheets from eight Laliga Santander matches, with Jan Oblak conceding just three league goals overall since the return of club football. That defensive improvement has brought the capital city club points, as they have won five matches, drawn two and lost just one, to leaders Fc Barcelona, since the World Cup. That works out at a total of 17 points from eight games, with only Barça having taken more in this period.

In fact, Atletico de Madrid have collected one point more than their...

No Barca or Madrid in La Liga as Real Sociedad strengthen grip on third place
Image
Madrid, Jan 16 (Ians) Real Sociedad consolidated their position in third place in La Liga with a 3-1 win over Athletic Club Bilbao.

The Basque derby was played in a great atmosphere in the Anoeta Stadium, with the home side causing Athletic a lot of problems with their high pressure, reports Xinhua news agency.

The pressure produced the first goal as Athletic failed to clear an attack and the ball fell kindly to Alexander Sorloth to control and score inside the area in the 24th minute.

Take Kubo doubled Real Sociedad’s lead before halftime after Mikel Vesga had been robbed trying to play the ball out of defense.

Oihan Sancet pulled a goal back for Athletic before halftime, but the game was over as a contest on the hour after the referee gifted Real Sociedad a penalty and harshly sent off Athletic defender Yeray Alvarez for the slightest of touches on Kubo.

La Liga: Three things to look for in Spain's Matchday 17 (analysis)
Image
Madrid (Spain), Jan 13 (Ians) Fc Barcelona and Real Madrid are absent from La Liga matches this weekend as they compete in the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia. Nevertheless, there is still plenty of action as Spain’s top flight moves onto its 17th round of matches.

Here are some things to look out for in the coming days:

1. A big Basque derby

This season’s first Basque derby between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao sees the two sides challenging for a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League, with Real Sociedad also looking like the only team able to get near Barca and Madrid in the race for the league’s title.

Imanol Alguacil’s team go into the match in excellent form, with six wins in all competitions, and the connection between Brais Mendez and Alexander Sorloth in attack working to perfection.

The return of Mikel Oyarzabal...

No Spain, but Laliga well represented in FIFA World Cup final
Image
Doha, Dec 16 (Ians) The Spanish football team may have flown home after losing to Morocco in a penalty shootout in the last 16 but the Spanish football league is still going to be well-represented in Sunday’s World Cup final between France and Argentina.

Fifteen of the 52 players in the France and Argentina squads currently ply their trade in La Liga, with that rising to 16 if we count Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, who flew back to Spain with a muscle injury but was never replaced in the French squad by coach Didier Deschamps.

Atletico Madrid may not be having the best of seasons, but they are the most represented club with Antoine Griezmann, Rodrigo de Paul, Angel Correa and Nahuel Molina all at Atletico, reports Xinhua.

Bayern Munich also have four players involved in the final, with: Pavard, Upamecano, Coman and Lucas Hernandez all in the French squad although Lucas...

Barcelona and Real Madrid both win ahead of El Clasico
Image
Madrid, Oct 10 (Ians) Fc Barcelona had to withstand a second half fightback at home to Celta Vigo to cling on for a narrow 1-0 win in the Camp Nou on Sunday in the eighth round match of La Liga.

Barca controlled the first half completely, with Gavi and Pedro running the midfield, and it was no surprise when Gavi set Pedro up to score from close range in the 17th minute.

Everything changed after the break, with Celta seeing a goal ruled out for a close offside, while Marc-Andre ter Stegen produced two excellent saves to deny Iago Aspas and Oscar.

Barca will have to improve considerably if they are to beat Inter Milan in the Champions League ahead of next weekend’s El Clasico against Real Madrid, reports Xinhua.

Real Madrid go top in Spain; Sampaoli bounce back to hold Sevilla 1-1
Image
Madrid, Oct 9 (Ians) Real Madrid returned to the top of La Liga on Saturday night thanks to a narrow 1-0 win away to Getafe. Eder Militao’s header from a corner in the third minute of the game was enough to give Carlo Ancelotti’s side all three points ahead of Fc Barcelona’s home match against Celta Vigo on Sunday night.

The Var overturned a decision to award Real Madrid a penalty for a supposed foul on Vinicius Jr and ruled out a ‘goal’ from Rodrygo.

The arrival of coach Jorge Sampaoli as the replacement for Julen Lopetegui looked as if it would bring an immediate result for Sevilla as Oliver Torres opened the scoring in the third minute of their 1-1 draw at home to Athletic Club Bilbao, reports Xinhua.

However, after withstanding a tough opening 15 minutes, Athletic dominated the rest of the match and Mikel Vesga’s...

Real Madrid keep up 100 per cent start as Barca win in Cadiz
Image
Madrid, Sep 12 (Ians) Real Madrid came back from a goal down and the loss of Karim Benzema through injury to win 4-1 at home to Real Mallorca and maintain their unbeaten record at the top of La Liga.

Vedat Muriqi headed Mallorca ahead in the 35th minute on Sunday evening, but Fede Valverde equalised in first-half injury time. The Uruguayan collected the ball inside his own half and slalomed his way into the Mallorca area before scoring a magnificent goal.

Vinicius Jr was looking to lead Madrid in Benzema’s absence, but Mallorca held firm until the 72nd minute when the Brazilian scored with a left-foot shot, reports Xinhua. The game was still in the balance until Rodrygo also scored an excellent solo goal in the 89th minute and Antonio Rudiger headed in a fourth in injury time.

Barca go top in Spain with drama in Cadiz's stands
Image
Madrid, Sep 11 (Ians) Fc Barcelona went to bed as leaders of La Liga on Saturday night after a 4-0 win away to Cadiz in a match where a big part of the drama was in the stands.

The game had to be stopped in the 81st minute when a Cadiz supporter suffered a supposed heart attack and received emergency treatment before being evacuated to hospital, causing a delay of over half an hour.

Barca were leading 2-0 when the game had to be halted thanks to second-half goals from Frenkie de Jong and Robert Lewandowski. Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele scored two more after the match was restarted.

Atletico Madrid enjoyed a relatively comfortable 4-1 win at home to Celta Vigo, reports Xinhua.

Angel Correa’s sixth-minute goal separated the two sides after a relatively even first half, but Atletico took control after the break when Rodrigo de Paul scored from Koke’s knockdown.

La Liga: Atletico extend lead but drop points against Levante
Image
Madrid, Feb 18 (Ians) Atletico Madrid extended their lead at the top of La Liga to six points over Real Madrid, but failed to take full advantage of one of the two games in hand they have over their city rivals and Barcelona, as they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Levante.

Atletico controlled the opening minutes, but in the 17th minute a run by Jorge Frutos allowed Enis Bardhi to open the scoring for Levante with a clever finish in front of Atletico keeper Jan Oblak, Xinhua reported.

Unusually, this was the fifth consecutive game in which Atletico's typically miserly defence have conceded a goal, but after Levante keeper Aitor Fernandez produced an excellent stop to deny Saul Niguez, Marcos Llorente leveled things up from the resulting corner.

The Atletico midfielder had time to line up his shot outside of the area and the ball took enough of...
