Long-time Storage Wars star Gunter Nezhoda has died following complications with lung cancer. He was 67. Gunter’s passing was confirmed by his son and fellow Storage Wars cast member Rene Nezhoda on Wednesday, March 22, in an emotional Twitter video. “Today’s a very sad day and this is a very hard video to make and I’ve made this video many times already. I’m just gonna say it the way I say it. My dad, 6 months ago, was diagnosed with lung cancer,” Rene said. “He’s been smoking for 30 years. Not the last time, but he’s been smoking for a long time. Last night, he passed away in his sleep peacefully from complications from lung cancer.” Rene went on to say that his father had many “holes in his lungs,” and the doctors couldn’t do anything more for him.
