Why Was Octa Chased By The Serbian Mob In Netflix’s Sixty Minutes?
Image
Octa's big fight was rigged by the Serbian mob, causing him to drop out to see his daughter. Octa sets up a plan to get rid of both Chino and the Serbian mob, leading to a shootout with the police involved. It is unclear if the police caught Danica and her henchmen, leaving the possibility of Octa's problems with the mob unresolved.

Netflix’s Sixty Minutes sees Octa (Emilio Sakraya) rushing across Berlin to see his daughter, but he comes across various enemies along the way, including the Serbian mob. Netflix’s catalog of international movies and action films continues to expand, and among the latest additions to both is the German film Sixty Minutes, directed by Oliver Kienle. Sixty Minutes combines martial arts, action sequences, and drama as the audience follows and roots for Octa, an Mma fighter about to fight a big opponent.

However, the same day...

‘Sixty Minutes’ Netflix Review: The Fast-Paced Action Thriller Is Repetitive But Is Elevated By Great Fight Scenes
Image
The idea is quite simple, and its simplicity doesn’t bother me at first glance. The title Sixty Minutes reminds me of movies like 88 Minutes, but the plot of this movie is not based on any bomb that has to be defused or a criminal has to be caught. The story of Sixty Minutes revolves around the life of an Mma fighter who has to decide whether to participate in his next fight or travel a fair distance and meet his daughter before 6 pm, which, if you are good at decoding movie titles, means that he has to make this choice at 5 pm.

The stakes of this movie are interesting and a little bit silly at the same time. If our Mma fighter doesn’t reach his daughter in time, then he might lose custody of her. Before you ask, there isn’t a court case going on; it’s just her birthday,...

Trailer for German On-The-Run Film 'Sixty Minutes' w/ Emilio Sakraya
Image
"This is bigger than you think." Netflix has revealed an official trailer for a German race-against-the-clock thriller called Sixty Minutes (oder 60 Minuten auf Deutsch), arriving in January for streaming on Netflix. 60 Minutes is an action-packed race against time. Leading actor and multi-talent Emilio Sakraya lets his fists fly as mixed martial arts fighter Octavio. Mma fighter Octavio has one hour to make it to his daughter's birthday party across Berlin or he'll lose custody forever. To reach her in time he turns down an important fight, which puts him in a dangerous position with some even more dangerous people. Of course. Suddenly Octavio isn't only trapped in a ruthless race against time but also a chase through the entire city that pushes him to his limits. Also starring Dennis Mojen, Marie Mouroum, Paul Wollin, Aristo Luis, Morik Heydo, and Florian Schmidtke. This reminds me a lot of the Berlin classic Run Lola Run,...
