Pooja Banerjee and her husband Sandeep Sejwal seem to have hit a bit of a bad spot and will be forced to opt out of 'Nach Baliye 9' just a week after becoming a part of it.

Owing to serious injuries sustained by the actress during rehearsals, the talented couple will have to take an early exit from India's leading dance reality show.

Sandeep shared, ?In the act, Pooja had to stand on my shoulders and fall back, with our choreographer catching her. However, she slipped, lost her balance and fell in the front from above 10 feet from the ground. She landed on her hands. The impact was such that she hurt both her hands?the joint of her right wrist is fractured, while the left elbow bone is chipped.

Pooja has also sprained a ligament in her left leg.

Director of Love Shagun, Saandesh Nayak and the cast of the film, Vikram Kochchar and Manit Joura recently visited The Golden Temple. They have been on an extensive tour of Punjab to promote the film. Having received a raving response, sources confirmed that the exhibitors have offered the makers 150 screens extra. The director and the cast were so overwhelmed with this response, they decided to give thanks and pay their respects by visiting the holy shrine.

Ever since its release, fans seem to completely smitten with Anuj Sachdeva’s cute nerdy look!

Popular actor, Anuj Sachdeva plays a nerdy and shy character in the upcoming film Love Shagun opposite actress Nidhi Subbaiah. The actor, who has come a long way from his TV debut in 2006, is confident about the film and his role. Anuj is happy with the reactions he has received so far and even talks about how his character is being compared to Shahrukh Khan’s from Rab ne Bana di Jodi.

Speaking about the reason for choosing such a film, the actor revealed, “It was a character which was completely unlike me and that was the primary reason why I chose to do this film. If you were to know me and then if you were to look at my character, you would nowhere relate to it. In fact, when my mom saw the poster of the film her immediate reaction was, ‘You look like Shah Rukh Khan from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

We all know Anuj Sachdeva, who has appeared in many popular soaps like Sabki Laadli Bebo, Phir Subah Hogi, Chhanchhan and Itti Si Khushi, will be seen playing the protagonist Jd, in the forthcoming romantic comedy film - Love Shagun. However, not many know that, Anuj's point of reference to prepare for his role was none other than the veteran actor - Amol Palekar.

Interestingly, when Jd's role was offered to Anuj, he was asked to refer to Amol Palekar's character from Basu Chatterjee's classic film Choti Si Baat. In the film, Palekar plays a simpleton and wears chequered shirts and pleated pants. World’s first film on in-line skating, upcoming Bollywood movie Hawaa Hawaai’ directed by Amole Gupte has been receiving tremendous response with its pre-release screenings. Celebrities and various renowned personalities have been batting for the upcoming film which is all set to inspire everyone to fulfil their dreams.

New Delhi, Sep 6: TV actor Anuj Sachdeva, who currently plays the lead in the soon-to-go-off-air show "Chhanchhan", is not willing to settle for anything but the main character in any future project.

He says that the kind of roles offered to an actor depends on the way he or she is pitched in the market.

"I would not do a parallel lead. I would do only the main lead. I believe that it is tough to make a choice. With time, people have to bend. How they work depends how they are pitched in the market. Till the time I can, I will make a choice," Anuj told Ians.

The actor is also making his foray into Punjabi films.

New Delhi, June 26: TV actor Anuj Sachdeva, one of the few small screen actors who shared screen space with big screen divas Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone in ad films, says given a chance he would like to work in intense movies like "Sadma" or "Pushpak".

"I want to work in an action film. But given a chance, I would love to work in films like 'Sadma' and 'Pushpak'. These films are intense and very expressive," Anuj told Ians.

Active on the small screen, he has replaced Farhan Khan as the male lead in Sony's daily show "Chhanchhan", which stars Sanaya Irani in the female lead.
