Exclusive: Indian author, broadcaster and producer Amish Tripathi has inked with Artist International Group for management. One of India’s most celebrated contemporary writers with the Shiva Trilogy and the Ram Chandra Series to his credit, Tripathi is looking to broaden his vast following beyond his home country.

The groundbreaking Shiva Trilogy and Ram Chandra Series became the fastest-selling and second-fastest selling book series, respectively, in Indian publishing history, and his novels have collectively sold over 8 million copies and have been translated into more than 20 languages worldwide.

Tripathi continues to build a cultural universe rooted in mythology, history and Indian identity. Creativeland Studios Entertainment is set to bring the tale of Hindu god Lord Krishna to the global stage with its ambitious new project, “Shri Radha Ramanam.”

The India-u.K.-U.S. collaboration aims to present the story of Krishna’s love to international audiences. C. Sajan Raj Kurup, founder and managing director of Creativeland Studios Entertainment, has joined forces with bestselling author Amish Tripathi for this venture. Tripathi, known for his “Shiva Trilogy” and “Ram Chandra” series, has sold over seven million copies of his mythological fiction works. His involvement as creative director on the project brings a wealth of experience in reimagining Indian mythology for contemporary audiences.

The film, described as a “magical tale,” is penned by writers Prakash Kapadia and Raam Mori, following two years of research to ensure that details are corroborated across scriptures and books.

Mumbai, May 17 (Ians) Actor Sunny Singh, who will be seen playing the character of Shesh in ‘Adipurush’, has shared that the film is very personal to him as it gives him a chance to dabble in the action genre. And what makes it so important is that his father is an action director himself.

He said: “It’s my first film where I got to do a lot of action sequences and I dedicate it to my father who has worked for 40 years as an action director.”

The actor’s father Jai Singh Nijjar is a reputed action director who has worked on films like ‘Shivaay’, ‘Golmaal 3’, ‘Singham’, ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’.

The film, which also stars Prabhas, and Kriti Sanon, is a retelling the epic story of Ramayana directed by Om Raut.

Actor Pratik Gandhi, who swayed the audience with his work in ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ is coming with his new Gujarati film ‘Vaahlam Jaao Ne’. The actor calls the film a wholesome family entertainer.

The film tells the story of Sumit Gandhi (Pratik Gandhi), a music director in love with Reena (Deeksha Joshi), a fashion designer who wants to be stylist to film star Ranveer Singh.

Jackie Shroff and Pratik Gandhi have talked about their roles in the romantic comedy ‘Atithi Bhooto Bhava’ and their experience of shooting for the movie. It is an interesting love story between a stand-up comedian Srikant Shirodkar (Pratik Gandhi) and the object of his affections, Netra Bannerjee (Sharmin Segal). The movie takes a turn when a ghost named Makhan Singh (Jackie Shroff) enters their love story and asks Srikant to honour a promise he had made to him as he was Makhan’s grandfather in the previous birth.

Mumbai, Feb 27 (Ians) Pratik Gandhi has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming Bollywood film, Atithi Bhooto Bhava. The film will see the Scam 1992 fame actor share screen space with Jackie Shroff and Sharmin Segal.

The romantic comedy, directed by Hardik Gajjar, went on floors in the third week of January in Mathura and shooting was completed in a span of just 30 days in Mumbai and Mathura.

Pratik recently shared on Instagram how he was enjoying shooting in the "land of Radhe-Krishna", with delectable sweets like kheer mohan in between shots.

Talking about his veteran co-star Jackie Shroff, Pratik shared on Instagram earlier this month: "Never a dull moment with @apnabhidu Jackie Shroff... Always in style and that contagious smile. With his quirkiest wits that leaves everyone in splits."

The upcoming romantic comedy Atithi Bhooto Bhava, toplined by Scam 1992 star Pratik Gandhi, went on floors in Mathura on Friday.

The film also features Jackie Shroff in a pivotal role, and actress Sharmin Segal features opposite Pratik in the romantic comedy. Apart from Mathura, the film will also be shot across several locales including Vrindavan, Gokul and Gwalior. 

Helmed by Hardik Gajjar, the film Is slated to release later this year.

"I am extremely excited to collaborate again with Director Hardik Gajjar and Pen Studio. This unique love story will be a learning experience as I will be working with a supremely talented actor Jackie Shroff," Pratik said.
