Daredevil: Born Again made the controversial creative choice of sidelining Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) for its first season. Producer Brad Winderbaum explained that Marvel is moving toward a traditional TV model. “Moving forward, our priorities have shifted,” he said. “We’re making shows as shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television… We’ve gone back to a more traditional television model.”

Marvel is switching up how it makes TV shows, and fans might finally start seeing a difference. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel is taking a page out of Netflix’s playbook by shifting its Disney+ strategy to focus more on grounded, street-level heroes, similar to the Defenders era, while saving the big, universe-shaking events for the movies.

This rumor was posted on Richtman’s Patreon. This is however not the first time we’ve heard that Disney is changing its strategy. Marvel Producer Brad Winderbaum also mentioned that its release schedule and the way the studio makes shows are getting overhauled.

Marvel is now trying to build shows that can last for multiple seasons, just like traditional TV. That means more planning, better pacing, and a focus on storylines that can keep going, not just wrap up in six episodes.

HBO's upcoming "Harry Potter" series continues to attract attention. This time, Gary Oldman has shared his views on the show -- as well as a very particular character he would have liked to play on it. The duo are starring alongside each other once again in the Marvel TV series, and they were seen walking on set on Monday (June 16) in New York City. Michael Gandolfini, who portrays Daniel Blake, was also seen.

If you don’t know, Krysten famously paid the titular character in the Netflix show Jessica Jones from 2015-2019. Daredevil: Born Again is a revival of the original Daredevil series, which ran on Netflix from 2015-2018. Now, Krysten will be back for season two of the Daredevil series!

“I am so excited to bring back this iconic character. Without giving too much away… there’s much in store for Jessica Jones – this is going to be an incredible season,” Krysten said at the time her casting was announced, per Deadline.

A character-driven mystery-thriller, “Untamed” uncovers a murder on the grounds of Yosemite National Park.

The series is created and written by Mark L. Smith and his daughter Elle Smith (The Marsh King’s Daughter), who also serve as showrunners and executive producers.

Filming for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 started on February 28, 2025. The show is being directed by Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, Meera Menon, Clark Johnson, and Logan Coles, using the working title Out the Kitchen 2. Hillary Fyfe Spera is back as the cinematographer from Season 1, along with Jeffrey Waldron, who’s working on some of the new episodes.

In late March, scenes were shot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, at the set of Josie’s Bar, where Charlie Cox was seen wearing his black Daredevil suit in surfaced set leaks. In early April, actor Wilson Bethel was spotted filming in Chelsea. By mid-May, the filming was halfway done, and it’s expected to wrap up in July.

The latest set video confirms that filming is still underway. In one of the recent leaks, Charlie Cox and Deborah Ann Woll are seen relaxing on set, further confirming that Woll will return to reprise her role.

"When did Jessica Jones find out that I’m not dead? At the end of Defenders, everyone assumes I’m dead," Cox said. In the 2017 miniseries The Defenders, Daredevil was presumed dead after a building collapsed during the climactic battle with the Hand, but a final scene at the end of the episode showed him alive, setting the stage for Daredevil Season 3 -- but the other characters, including Jessica Jones, were not shown learning of his survival.
