Oswald: Down the Rabbit Hole
‘Oswald: Down the Rabbit Hole’ Production Delayed For Script Updates
Oswald: Down the Rabbit Hole
After getting announced last year, production on public domain horror movie Oswald: Down the Rabbit Hole has been delayed indefinitely.

Writer-Director Lilton Stewart III is using the delay to focus on tightening the script with script rewrites to enhance the horror-adventure film. Stewart is committed to delivering a more polished and satisfying story.

“I recently got inspired by an idea that will definitely make the story tighter and flesh out some of the unanswered questions I was leaving for the sequel,” says Stewart. “Audiences will still have questions leading into the next chapter of the story, but will feel more satisfied at the conclusion of the first film.”

Oswald: Down the Rabbit Hole is “depicting a sinister take on an iconic cartoon classic that encompasses the pure horror genre.” That cartoon classic is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a Walt Disney character first introduced in 1927 that was eventually replaced by Mickey Mouse.

"There'll be no honey, but there will be blood." An early teaser trailer has debuted for a movie inspired by the classic Disney character Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Director Lilton Stewart III is currently working on a movie called Oswald: Down the Rabbit Hole, set for release sometime in 2024 (no date confirmed just yet). We've got not one, but two different horror movies in the works based on this year's Momo Challenge. The viral sensation swept across the internet earlier this year, in large part thanks to Kim Kardashian, who shared the now infamous image with her many millions of followers on Instagram, along with some misinformation regarding hidden Momo messages in YouTube videos that are watched by young children. Given the popularity of the creepy-faced figure, Orion Pictures is now set to adapt Momo for the big screen.

According to a new report, Orion Pictures has partnered with Roy Lee's Vertigo Entertainment production company, as well as producer Taka Ichise, for a new, currently untitled Momo Challenge movie. Lee previously produced It, which went on to become the highest-grossing horror movie of all time. Lee and Ichise partnered in the past on hits such as The Grudge and The Ring. Orion Pictures,...
