Alain Fleury is a film, TV and VFX editor with 11 years of vast experience that has earned him a
reputation as the go-to editor for superhero films, independent films, and series. Most recently,
Alain worked as the assistant editor for Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which is
nominated for five Oscars and more than 151 various other award nominations.
Alain has served as the second assistant editor for Transformers: The Rise of the Beasts which premiered June 9 and stars Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Yeoh as well as two time Emmy-nominated actor Ron Perlman.
One of Alain's most notable projects is his work as the assistant visual effects editor for Marvel's award-winning film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen.
Alain also served as the assistant editor for the Starz series Power Book IV: Force; the Hasbro Studios animated series Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy; Netflix's animated series Stretch Armstrong & the Flex Fighters; the Cartoon Network series Transformers: Robots in Disguise; and Discovery Channel's animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Alongside assistant editing, Alain edits for independent films such as award winning short Rear and upcoming feature film Restaveks.
Growing up in a Haitian American household, Alain developed a passion for storytelling at a young age and went on to earn Bachelors in Film from FullSail University. His passion and dedication to his craft have earned him recognition from the film community and he regularly gives back by sharing his experiences with his peers and upcoming filmmakers through various panels, speaker events and organizations. He continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in film editing.
