Mike Schnapp aka DJ Uncle Mike is a music-minded native New Yorker. He is a DJ, Actor, Author, Film Producer, Music Producer, Published Photographer and part time loiterer. He loves traveling, live music, classic American automobiles, great food, nature and fun on the beach.
In recent years, Mike has acted in a trilogy of Spaghetti Western movies filmed in Almeria Spain produced by Chip Baker Films including "6 Bullets To Hell", "The Bounty Killer" and "The Price Of Death".
He also made an appearance in the documentary film "Murder In The Front Row" as himself as well as appearing in the Depth Charge Productions film titled "Excretion: The Shocking Story of the Soccer Moms".
Mike has recently produced a trilogy of music documentary films including "Nightclubbing: The Birth of Punk Rock in NYC", "Sid: The Final Curtain" and "Ghosts of the Chelsea Hotel (and Other Rock & Roll Stories)".
Mike is also an Associate Producer of the music documentary films "Rolling Stone Life and Death of Brian Jones" and "Sad Vacation".
Mike is currently putting the finishing touches on his writing trilogy of upcoming books. His "DUDE LITERARY TRILOGY" will include: "MEGADUDE: On Tour & More w/ The 1980's Heaviest Metal"; "METALDUDE: Music Stories & Stuff"; "PHOTODUDE: Impressionistic, Somewhat Historic, Blurry, Out of Focus & A Few Clear Schnappshots".
