Fans will not be entertained by some disappointing news regarding the imminent departure of one of the greatest historical films ever made. Gladiator, the movie that vaulted Russell Crowe to Hollywood superstardom, is set to leave Netflix very soon.

Per Collider,Gladiator is one of several titles leaving Netflix on Aug. 1. The film has also been available to stream on Netflix, Peacock and Paramount+, where it's housed alongside its sequel, Gladiator II.

Regarded as a game-changing film for the sword-and-sandal genre, Gladiator sees Crowe star alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen, Djimon Hounsou and the late Oliver Reed. Pokémon Horizons has just reached a significant milestone for the series, as it aired its 100th episode in Japan on Friday. Just over two years after premiering, Liko and Roy have completed a hundred episodes, proving that the new heroes won't be going anywhere any time soon.

Horizons began airing in April 2023, introducing the world to its new heroine, the shy Liko, for the first time. Soon, she was joined by Roy, a young boy from an isolated island near Kanto, and the story began to reveal itself. The pair found themselves on a quest to retrace the steps of the Ancient Adventurer, Lucius, hoping to return Terapagos to the legendary land of Laqua, which it had once visited with Lucius. To that end, the duo traveled with a group known as the Rising Volt Tacklers, hunting down each of the Six Heroes, Pokémon that once belonged to Lucius, while struggling against the villainous Explorers.
