A sci-fi series starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista is getting new attention on Apple TV+. The show, called See, was one of the very first original series released by Apple TV+. It premiered alongside other early Apple shows like The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and Dickinson.

Despite the big launch, See didn’t become as popular as Apple probably hoped. After three seasons, it ended in 2022 and was mostly forgotten.

But recently, See has been climbing back up in Apple TV+’s streaming charts. According to Cbr, the show is currently in the top ten worldwide on Apple TV+, even reaching number seven on June 12. Other popular shows like Ted Lasso, Severance, and Your Friends and Neighbors are also on the list. Interestingly, See is the oldest show on the list, having premiered a year before Ted Lasso.

Most of the 38-member cast of the upcoming Broadway production of Tom Stoppard’s Olivier Award-winning Leopoldstadt was announced today, with four members of the original West End company making the move and newcomers to the show set to include Caissie Levy, Brandon Uranowitz, Seth Numrich and David Krumholtz.

Jason Momoa will be back on screens before we know it!

Apple TV+ has revealed a teaser trailer for the second season of its epic post-apocalyptic series See, which is set to premiere globally on Friday, August 27 on Apple TV+, with a new episode premiering weekly, every Friday thereafter.

What's more, the streamer has also picked up a third season, revealing that filming is currently underway in Toronto, Canada.

The series will introduce even more big names.

See Season 2 will introduce Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Edo Voss, the brother of Momoa’s character, Baba Voss.

Sweetbitter has come to an end. Starz has canceled the half-hour dramedy, based on Stephanie Danler’s bestselling book, after two seasons, Deadline has confirmed.

Sweetbitter followed 22-year-old Tess, played by Ella Purnell, who, shortly after arriving in New York City, lands a job at a celebrated downtown restaurant. Swiftly introduced to the world of drugs, alcohol, love, lust, dive bars and fine dining, she learns to navigate the chaotically alluring yet punishing life she has stumbled upon.

Sweetbitter also starred Caitlin FitzGerald, Tom Sturridge, Paul Sparks, Evan Jonigkeit, Eden Epstein, Jasmine Mathews and Daniyar.

The series wrapped its second season in mid-August.

Stuart Zicherman (The Americans) served as showrunner and executive producer along with Danler as creator and executive producer. Plan B also executive produced the series. Sweetbitter aired on Starz in the U.S. and Canada, and on the StarzPlay platform in the UK, Germany and Spain.

The half-hour drama has been canceled by Starz after two seasons on the network. Season 2 wrapped up in August.

The half-hour drama series was based on the book of the same name by Stephanie Danler. It followed a 22-year-old woman (Ella Purnell) who, shortly after arriving in New York, landed a job at a celebrated downtown restaurant.

The series also starred Tom Sturridge, Caitlin FitzGerald, Evan Jonigkeit, Eden Epstein, Jasmine Mathews, Daniyar, and Paul Sparks. Danler served as creator, executive producer and writer on the series. Stuart Zicherman served as showrunner and executive producer along with Brad Pitt’s Plan B.

Senior vice president of original programming Ken Segna and manager of original programming Samantha Offsay were the Starz executives overseeing “Sweetbitter.”

Season 1 of the show averaged 164,000 total viewers in the Live+Same Day rating, but season 2 saw the series slip to 93,000 total viewers on average per episode.

“Sweetbitter” has been canceled after two seasons at Starz, a spokesperson for the premium cable channel tells TheWrap.

Based on the national bestselling novel of the same name by Stephanie Danler, “Sweetbitter” stars Ella Purnell, Tom Sturridge, Caitlin FitzGerald, Evan Jonigkeit, Eden Epstein, Jasmine Mathews, Daniyar and Paul Sparks.

The half-hour restaurant dramedy, which hails from Starz parent company Lionsgate, ended its eight-episode Season 2 run in August.

Starz is offering up a second serving of Sweetbitter.

The premium cable network has confirmed that the show will return with a second season.

“Season one gave audiences a taste of the characters and backstory of an upscale New York restaurant, leaving them wanting more – which we will deliver with a second helping of ‘Sweetbitter,’” said Chris Albrecht, President, and CEO of Starz.

“The immersion of the audience into the world in and around the restaurant will deepen as the series looks further into the complexities of Tess’ awakening and the lives of her new friends and colleagues in the second season.”
