As is the practice each year with the Government of Maharashtra selecting Marathi cinema for the Cannes’ Marche Du film, the Official selection for this prestigious section this year is Bittersweet, the hard-hitting drama of the emotional dilemma of women sugarcane workers in interior Maharashtra.
