Actress Yami Gautam on Saturday celebrated the second anniversary of her vigilante thriller film ‘A Thursday’, expressing her gratitude for being part of a project that changed the course of her career.

‘A Thursday’ is a gripping hostage thriller where Yami portrays the role of a play school teacher Naina Jaiswal, who takes 13 children hostage, creating suspense throughout the narrative.

As the film completed its two-year milestone, Yami reflected on the journey, acknowledging the pivotal role ‘A Thursday’ played in reshaping her career trajectory.

Neha was present in the national capital along with her husband and actor Angad Bedi for an event.

Talking about mental health, the former ‘Miss India’ said: “People think they won’t take therapy. It’s okay to look after your mental health. Sometimes you need to talk, you need someone to listen to.”

“I went through a dip in my life. I had something called postpartum depression. First 3-4 months I didn’t realise the symptoms. So reaching out, meeting people and taking therapy are not wrong. We should keep our mental health strong,” she said.

Neha married Angad on May 10, 2018. The couple have two kids- daughter Mehr, and son Guriq.

Mumbai, June 21 (Ians) Actress Neha Dhupia adopted practising yoga before she even went to partake in Miss India. Having been doing this fitness form for over 20 years, she shared that yoga has changed her life.

Even during her pregnancy, the actress practised pre-natal yoga ahead of becoming a mother, which she says helped her extensively.

She said, “I firmly believe that Yoga makes me patient and brings normalcy to a life that can get crazy at times.”

Neha added: “I have been doing this for years now and it even helped when I practised pre natal yoga during my pregnancy. It’s taught me to honour my practice, my teacher and myself with this”.

New Delhi, Feb 25 (Ians) Actress Yami Gautam began shooting for her upcoming film Dasvi on Thursday in Agra. Her co-stars Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur had already stared shooting for the film earlier.

Yami plays a Harayanvi Ips officer in the film and had to learn the language and diction for her role. She has taken workshops for her language, diction and body language.

She posted a picture on Instagram and captioned it: "My first day on the set of #dasvi playing #jyotideswal. Proud and honoured to play an Ips office. #jaihind."

The actress has also been roped in for Faraar directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, who earlier helmed Pink. She will also be seen in Behzad Khambata's film, A Thursday, which will mark her debut in the Ott space. Yami has three others projects in hand.
