Two Tickets to Greece Review
Kristin Scott Thomas at an event for Only God Forgives (2013)
You might have to wait a whole hour for Kristin Scott Thomas to appear in the guise of carefree and broke aristocrat Bijou in this breezy mid-life crisis drama set in Greece, but once she arrives everything suddenly falls into place.

Two tickets to Greece, the French title from director Marc Fitoussi (Call My Agent) follows two former school best friends Magalie (Laure Calamy) and Blandine (Olivia Côte) as they reconcile decades after falling out and losing touch with one another. Despite the years, Magalie hasn’t changed one bit and is still the life and soul of any party that will have her. On the other hand, stuck up upper middle class Blandine has forgotten how to have fun.

Newly divorced and still pining for her old married life, Blandine is spurred on by her well-adjusted grown-up son, Benjamin (Alexandre Desrousseaux), to take a trip with Magalie to the...

Image
Raven-Symoné has signed a multiyear overall deal with Disney Branded Television that includes a pilot greenlight for a “Raven’s Home” spinoff series titled “Alice in the Palace.”

Disney also announced that “Raven’s Home,” itself a spinoff of “That’s So Raven,” will not return for a seventh season. The sixth and final season aired from April to September 2023.

Under her new overall deal, Raven-Symoné will produce, direct and develop projects across linear and streaming, with a focus on multi-cam comedies, Disney said in a press release. First up is “Alice in the Palace,” which Raven-Symoné will executive produce and direct. Per the logline, “The new series picks up when Alice (Emmy Award-winning actress Mykal-Michelle Harris), Raven’s young cousin, returns to England and reunites with Duchess Clementine (also portrayed by Harris), a young royal who looks exactly like her. ‘Raven’s Home’ Gets Spinoff Pilot Under Raven-Symoné Deal With Disney Branded Television As Series Ends After 6 Seasons
Image
Exclusive: Raven-Symoné is extending her relationship with Disney, which she has called home for many years, with a new multi-year overall deal at Disney Branded Television. Under the pact, she will produce, direct, and develop projects across linear and streaming, with a focus on multi-cam comedies.

First off, she will executive produce and direct sitcom Alice in the Palace, which has received a pilot order. It is an Alice-centered spinoff from Raven-Symoné’s Disney Channel multi-camera comedy series Raven’s Home, which will not return for a seventh season. Its most recent Season 6 concluded its run in September 2023.

The deal with Raven-Symoné, which also includes continued acting and hosting opportunities, and the order for Alice in the Palace fits into Disney Branded Television’s strategy of building a new Disney Channel lineup of multi-camera sitcoms. In doing that, the company’s executive team has been leaning into classic Disney Channel IP.

‘Slow Horses’ Season 3 – Review (Best Series on Apple TV+)
Image
CinemaBlind’s Review – 100%

Slow Horses is back with its much-awaited third season, and I am happy to say that it is even better than what came before. The Gary Oldman dark comedy-drama has to be one of the best TV shows in the entire world, but sadly it is still not getting the attention it deserves.

Based on the third novel of the Slough House book series titled Real Tigers by Mick Herron, the new season starts in Istanbul with Alison Dunn (Katherine Waterston), an MI5 agent, and Sean Donovan (Sope Dirisu), head of security. The relationship between these two sets up the events for the upcoming episodes and while we don’t see the Slow Horses in the opening scene, they get caught up in this new mess pretty soon.

When it comes to the Slow Horses, not much has changed. River (Jack Lowden) still resents everything about his job,...
