Serhat Metin is a Turkish Cypriot actor born on December 26th in London, United Kingdom. Originally pursuing a career in amateur boxing, Serhat's path took a pivotal turn in 2011 when he stepped onto a film set alongside Toby Kebbell in the action thriller The Veteran. That experience ignited a deep passion for acting, prompting him to hang up his gloves and fully commit to a career in film and television.
Since then, Serhat has built an impressive and diverse body of work across both UK and international productions. His early breakout came with a role in the acclaimed U.S. series Tyrant on FX (2014), followed by notable appearances in The Marine 6: Close Quarters (2018) and the hit series Gangs of London (Sky Atlantic) by visionary action director Gareth Evans (The Raid, Apostle).
In 2021, he reunited with Gareth Evans for the gritty Netflix original Havoc, where he played the role of a police detective 'Cortez' alongside Tom Hardy, Forest Whitaker and Luis Guzmán.
Most recently, Serhat appeared in Dune: Part Two (2024), Denis Villeneuve's epic sci-fi sequel, portraying a fierce Fremen Fundamental Fighter opposite a star-studded cast including Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Austin Butler.
