Actress Seerat Kapoor, who is known for her work in Telugu cinema, will be seen playing a pivotal role in the musical love story ‘Aakasam Dati Vasthava’.

Although touted to be a turning point in the narrative, the finer details of her character are currently under the wraps.

A source from the film said, “Seerat is going to play one of the pivotal roles in the film, but currently her role is kept under the wraps but as per the script her character is poised to be the turning point of the entire story, that will add an extra layer of intrigue and excitement to the film’s narrative.”

The final leg of the film’s schedule is set to begin from August 2 and will shot in various locations of Hyderabad.

Chennai, March 15: Director Sukumar has roped in actor Sumanth Ashwin to play the lead in his maiden yet-untitled Telugu production venture, which will be directed by one of his associates, Vema Reddy.

Sukumar launched Mahi Entertainments few months back to make films with his associates.

"Sumanth is playing the lead. It was Sukumar sir who felt Sumanth would do justice to the role. We will start shooting from the month end," Vema told Ians.

The rest of the cast will be finalized soon.

Sumanth, who recently scored a hit with "Anthaku Mundhu Aa Tharavatha", is currently busy shooting for another Telugu film.

Sumanth, who is basking in the success of Telugu romantic-drama "Anthaku Mundhu Aa Tharavatha" (Amat), is soon expected to start shooting for the film.

"I liked Sumanth's performance in 'Amat'. I thought he would be apt for the role in this film. Moreover, I'm keen to work with a young and energetic team, preferably newcomers. I'm busy working on '1: Nenokkadine', and as soon as I complete it, I shall resume this project," Bandreddi told Ians.
