Aygul Maksutova is an American actress known for Dead Roses, This Looks Like Tomorrow and Defeated. Originally from Northern Russia in
Republic Komi Aygul is a Tatar girl-member of a Turkic people
descendant from a people who ruled central Asia in the 14th century. In
the snow of the mountains of Komi Aygul spent her childhood. She'd dig
tunnels and build houses of snow with the other children. Now she gets
to build her acting dreams that won't melt come June. Living in Los
Angeles, California, Aygul has initially moved to NYC from Russia, then to L.A. to pursue
her acting career after receiving her acting full time training in HB
Studio NYC (Herbert Berghof) for three years. Today, Aygul is a dancer at the Gulistan Theatre Dance Company.
At Gulistan they specialize in Central Asian dances and travel to perform on
stages across the world in the universal language of dance.
