This article contains spoilers for "Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 3.
What better way to end "Cobra Kai" than to bring things back to the San Fernando Valley for one last tournament? As Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) convinces the Sekai Taikai to continue after Kwon's (Brandon H. Lee) death in "Cobra Kai" season 6 part 2 brought it to a halt, Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) gets to pick the new venue. He uses the opportunity to bring the action from Barcelona to his place of power from the 1985 All Valley Karate Tournament -- the All Valley Sports Arena.
With this significant change, we get to see a whole bunch of "Cobra Kai" characters together for one last time, instead of the majority of the cast having to watch the handful of Sekai Taikai participants on TV as is often the case in Season 6 Part 2. It also allows the show to bring back...

This article contains spoilers for "Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 3.
"Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 3 doesn't hesitate to give its main characters their just desserts. While the show sweeps several members of its extensive cast to the sidelines out of necessity, Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence's (William Zabka) inner circles get perfectly satisfactory happy endings, each tailor made for the character in question. Likewise, the franchise's two biggest overarching antagonists get a thematically appropriate send-off, as 1980s uber-villains John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) die in an explosive and extremely 1980s-coded yacht punch-up.
However, not everyone gets what they deserve. In fact, by the time the credits roll for the series finale, titled "Ex-Degenerate," two major characters quite literally get away with murder.

Plot: After a shocking result in the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat. Almost 40 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, it’s all been leading to this.
Review: After six seasons over seven years and two streaming platforms, Cobra Kai is coming to an end. With the first two parts of the final season split into three parts, fans have seen ten episodes leading to the long-awaited finale event debuting on Netflix. The last five episodes of Cobra Kai VI culminate in the finale event that wraps up the story of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) as he comes full circle in his story that began when he lost the All Valley Karate Tournament to Daniel Larusso in 1984’s The Karate Kid. Cobra Kai season 6, episode 13 brought one of the best scenes of the whole series. Here’s a look at the events of the entire episode.
Caution: This post contains Spoilers for Cobra Kai season 6, episode 13.
The Sekai Taikai gets started, bringing the end of dreams for some and a chance for reconciliation for others. This episode also brought us a moment that we all needed, even if it didn’t bring all the answers we needed.
We do get to see the commentators sharing the excitement for the fights to come. This is a great reminder of the events from previous episodes, but it is also a chance to catch up on where Cobra Kai is. Tory returns without her dojang or a sensei. We do quickly learn that Silver is definitely dying, and he only has six months. This is more important than ever for him.

When it first launched as a YouTube series back in 2018, Cobra Kai seemed like a fun throwback, or perhaps just a joke from How I Met Your Mother that had gotten out of hand. It successfully channeled the corny, feel-good vibes of The Karate Kid while reflecting on the notion of nostalgia as the original karate kids Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) wrestled with their past.
It turned out to be a winning formula, eventually turning Cobra Kai into a major Netflix hit, and one that’s led to its final season, which spans five more episodes than the previous seasons, being split into three parts. And while the season feels needlessly prolonged, Cobra Kai’s home stretch ultimately makes for a well-earned and well-executed victory lap.

Cobra Kai season 6 part 3 is now streaming on Netflix. I watched all five episodes of the final season of the Netflix original series, including the series finale, fittingly titled “Ex-Degenerate.”
I shared exactly how Cobra Kai season 6 part 3 ends and shared some thoughts on where the story goes from here. I do not think this is the end of the line for these great characters and cast.
Tory and Miguel become Sekai Taikai champions
In the penultimate episode of Cobra Kai season 6, titled “Strike Last,” Tory Nichols (Peyton List) and Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña), who returned to Cobra Kai under Sensei Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) for the finals of the Sekai Taikai, win their championship matches against Zara (Rayna Vallandingham) and Axel (Patrick Luwis). That leaves Cobra Kai in a tie with the Iron Dragons for the team prize in the Sekai Taikai. As a tie-breaker, the Senseis must battle...

We’re just two days away from the highly-anticipated return of Cobra Kai, which is currently in its sixth and final season. Netflix decided to split up the final installment into three different parts as Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso, and the gang navigate the biggest showdown of their karate journey so far—the Sekai Taikai. As always, Miyagi-Do goes through a series of conflicts trying to prove they’re the best, all while its clashing personalities struggle to put their differences aside for the sake of the dojo.
In season 6, we get to meet a new batch of characters as new dojos are introduced. The Iron Dragons are a tough match for Miyagi-Do, and things only get more complicated as the characters spend more time together. One of the new additions is the dojo’s co-captain Zara Malik, played by Rayna Vallandingham, who gets involved with Robby. The 22-year-old Indian-American...

Cobra Kai never dies in this new trailer for the show that continues the legacy of the Karate Kid films. Part 3 of Cobra Kai‘s finale has premiered its final trailer, courtesy of Netflix, and the show is inevitably taking it all back to where it started at the All-Valley Tournament. Imagery of nostalgia continues as shots of Daniel and his now ally, Johnny, both train in the crane kick on the beach like in the original Karate Kid and a trailer mix of “You’re the Best Around” will pump you up for the final round of karate combat.
The season synopsis reads,
“After a shocking result in the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat. Almost 40 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, it’s all been leading to this.

On Thursday, Netflix revealed its full 2025 TV slate. The lineup includes the final seasons of two of its biggest shows, Stranger Things and Squid Game, and a second season of its other biggest show, Wednesday. It also includes promising-sounding limited series like Black Rabbit and The Four Seasons, returns of longtime Netflix favorites like Black Mirror and Chef’s Table, an overwhelming number of sports documentaries, and dozens more shows.
The biggest piece of news in the announcement is the startlingly soon release date for Squid Game Season 3. The second and third seasons shot back-to-back, and so the final season is slated for June 27, just six months after the release of Season 2. Netflix also revealed a handful of previously unannounced projects, including a 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina documentary that counts Spike Lee as a director, and a Long Island serial killer docuseries from director Liz Garbus.

It’s nearly morphing time again as the Power Rangers franchise is rumored to make its big-screen comeback. If recent reports are to be believed, a rebooted live-action film is being developed that is bound to repackage the nostalgia of the action franchise that gained popularity ever since it hit the small screens back in the 1990s.
A new Power Rangers reboot is rumored to be in development (Credit: Lionsgate).
Despite its popularity, the franchise has never quite transitioned well to the big screen and the upcoming reboot will be a new attempt at the same. The news certainly has fans excited and already discussing potential casting choices. Some fans have already picked their first choice for the role of the Yellow Ranger, and it is none other than a Cobra Kai star.

Cobra Kai never dies. However, the sixth and final season of "Cobra Kai" will mark the end of the legacy sequel series that widened the scope of the Miyagi-verse. Even though "Cobra Kai" is coming to an end, there's still lots to look forward to, as season 6 part 3 — which will feature the show's final episodes — is set to arrive in early 2025. For now, we have to be content with the newly unveiled season 6 part 2, in which Miyagi-Do heads to Spain for the Sekai Taikai, the most prestigious international karate tournament in martial arts history. The show has always been about big fights and even bigger rivalries, along with all the fractured, tentative relationships in between. Thanks to the Sekai Taikai, the stakes have never been higher, as new challengers and old rivals will make an appearance during a world championship that means a lot for everyone involved.

Warning: Spoilers for Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2If Cobra Kai season 6's Sekai Taikai tournament continues, Zara Malik (Rayna Vallandingham) should win the girls' championship, not Samantha Larusso (Mary Mouser) or Tory Nichols (Peyton List). The Sekai Taikai could potentially be canceled following the tragic death of Cobra Kai's male captain, Kwon Jae-Sung (Brandon H. Lee). But the girls' side of the tournament needs only to determine whether Tory or Sam will face Zara Malik for the world championship if the Sekai Taikai isn't called off.
Sam Larusso and Tory Nichols finally became friends earlier in Cobra Kai season 6, but Tory leaving Miyagi-Do to become Cobra Kai's female captain puts the two former rivals on opposite sides of the mat once more. Neither Sam nor Tory want to go back to hating and fighting each other, but they each have reasons to win the Sekai Taikai. Tory needs to...

While most ordinary TV shows aren't too interested in introducing new characters into the mix at all when they reach their final season, let alone feature one who becomes a breakout best character, "Cobra Kai" is no ordinary TV show. Currently, the show's sixth and final season just bowed its second of three parts, and it's become apparent that the villainess Zara Malik is arguably the final season's best new character. A student from the Iron Dragons participating in the Sekai Taikai tournament, Zara is a mysterious girl who lets her beauty, popularity, and especially her fists do the talking for her. As "Cobra Kai" wraps up its various storylines before the final episodes drop on February 13 of next year, Zara could turn out to be a pretty dangerous and dramatic wild card.
What's even more exciting than that is the accomplishments and potential of the actress behind Zara: Rayna Vallandingham.

Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Cobra Kai season 6, part 2.Patrick Luwis' Axel Kovaevi seems heavily enamored with Mary Mouser's Cobra Kai character, which means there could be a foolish last-minute fight for Samantha "Sam" Larusso's heart just before the Karate Kid sequel show draws to an end. Luwis' role in the Cobra Kai season 6, part 2 cast has him playing one of the best fighters in the entire Sekai Taikai tournament. Still, his interactions with his opponents, teammates, and even his sensei, have sometimes been difficult to interpret. One thing is clear: Axel has his eye on Sam.
The shocking ending of Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, brings all the show's rivalries and blood feuds to an abrupt halt. However, it's tough to imagine the final five episodes completely shelving Cobra Kai's layered dynamics. What's more likely is that the death of Brandon H. Lee's Kwon Jae-Sung will be...

Recently, she shared some tough news with her followers: she’s undergoing surgery to remove a rare brain tumor. And while the tumor is non-cancerous, it’s still serious, and it has left many wondering, what exactly is a colloid cyst?

Warning: Spoilers for Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 introduces Zara Malik (Rayna Vallandingham), a standout new villain and opponent for Miyagi-Do. Zara is a member of the Iron Dragons, one of the 16 international teams competing in the Sekai Taikai tournament in Barcelona. The primary cast of Cobra Kai is back for season 6, part 2, this time joined by a slew of new faces. Many of these characters (and their actors) have been loved by audiences for decades since they first appeared on screen back in 1984's The Karate Kid movie and its sequels. Of course, Cobra Kai provided an opportunity for the likes of Billy Zabka's Johnny Lawrence and Ralph Macchio's Daniel Larusso to return with a handful of new young karate students for them to foster.
Now, with Cobra Kai season 6, the cast and characters of this franchise have grown even more. Miyagi-Do has qualified for the global karate tournament, the Sekai Taikai, which sees the best fighters come together in Barcelona, Spain, to duke it out over the championship title. Plot: At the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do faces new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions — can they stay united as internal rivalries bubble back to the surface?
Review: When the first five episodes of Cobra Kai‘s final season debuted in July, I was underwhelmed by the repeated retread of familiar storylines. Cobra Kai VI, the lowest-rated season of The Karate Kid spin-off series, has only premiered a third of its final season so far, leaving ten of the fifteen chapters to debut. The second batch of episodes continues where the first left off, setting up a showdown at the Sekai Taikai tournament between Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai, along with some other competition. Once again, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are a charismatic pairing, whether on opposite sides or the same one. However, the middle section of Cobra Kai’s final season still feels like it...

The last season of Netflix’s popular martial arts show Cobra Kai will start on November 15. The actor Yuji Okumoto promises that his character Chozen will have an interesting story. In upcoming shows, the character must decide how to balance his personal goals with his dedication to Miyagi-Do martial arts.
Okumoto said in a private talk that Chozen is still looking for happiness in his personal life while also taking care of his duties. One of the actors said, “He has a lot of unfinished business in Okinawa.” The main theme of his story will be putting young fighters’ training first, especially as they prepare for the Sekai Taikai competition.

Production on the sixth and final season of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Kid film franchise, was delayed several months due to the writers and actors strikes last year – but the extended wait was worth it, because the show is wrapping up with a 15 episode season (previous seasons consisted of 10 episodes) that has been split up to make it a three part event. The first batch of episodes dropped back in July, and the second batch of episodes are set to begin streaming on November 15th. Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso and their students are headed overseas to compete in the international Sekai Taikai tournament in a new trailer for “Cobra Kai” Season 6 Part 2, which will drop on Netflix on Nov. 15.
The trailer shows the group landing in Barcelona, Spain and the group entering the doors of the karate competition, where they’re set to face off against 15 other teams. In addition to new rivals, Miyagi-Do will also deal with the fallout of Tory Nichols (Peyton List) defecting to Cobra Kai, while also fighting to stay united as internal rivalries bubble to the surface.
“We’ve heard all this garbage going around about loyalty. Almost all of us are trained somewhere else at some point,” Lawrence says in the teaser. “What matters is where our asses are now. We’re Miyagi-Do and we’re not losing. So wipe the smirks off their ugly faces.”

Do we really need a three-part final season of “Cobra Kai”? Netflix thinks so.
Trailers-wise, we are officially two-thirds of the way through the sixth and final season of the “Karate Kid” sequel series, which started way back in 2018 as a YouTube Premium show. Remember those days?
Since then, “Cobra Kai” has settled in nicely at Netflix. It’s a reliable series, though not an all-timer.
Now, in the Season 6-b trailer released on Wednesday, the Miyagi-do and Cobra Kai dojos head to Barcelona for the Sekai Taikai tournament. From Valley champs to world champs? Demetri (Gianni DeCenzo) doubts it.
“There’s no way we can win,” he says in the trailer.
Spoiler alert: There probably is a way.

A casting update on Cobra Kai season 6's final season is a promising sign about the Sekai Taikai. A handful of additions have been made to the Cobra Kai cast, just in time for the international karate tournament. Considering that Cobra Kai season 6 part 1 ended with the competition about to take shape, it can be assumed that these new characters will factor into the story that will go along with the event.
It's been revealed that Mortal Kombat actor Lewis Tan has been tapped to play a character who will be known as "Sensei Wolf" in Cobra Kai season 6 part 2. Joining him are Patrick Luwis and Rayna Vallandingham, who will play Axel Kovacevic and Zara Malik respectively. The two will be students of Sensei Wolf's dojo, who is participating in the Sekai Taikai alongside Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do. Given his experience in martial arts-related roles, Tan on his own brings...

Netflix just released the first batch of photos from Cobra Kai season six part two. The new photos show Miyagi-Do out of the Valley and onto a bigger stage at the Sekai Taikai. The photos also provide our first look at Sensei Wolf, played by Lewis Tan (Deadpool v. Wolverine).
“We left off with the big surprise that Tory has joined Cobra Kai, so we’re in the aftermath of that with everyone reacting to what just happened, while also trying to get their footing –– as the new kids on the block –– of this giant international tournament that has been going on for decades. They have no idea what’s in store for them,” says series co-creator Jon Hurwitz to Netflix’s Tudum.

Ahead of Cobra Kai season six’s return to Netflix for part two on Nov. 15, viewers should get ready for the caliber of black belts and karate masters at the Sekai Taikai, the global tournament, to go way up.
When Miyagi-Do competes at the Sekai Taikai in Barcelona, there’ll be new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions amid the usual high school and karate school rivalries.
“The first thing that you’re going to notice is we’re not in the Valley anymore. It’s a totally different environment. The competitive space is different from previous All Valley tournaments. There’s no crowd watching. This is a karate temple that they’re going to, where the only people in attendance are black belts or karate masters,” Hayden Schlossberg, who co-created the show with Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz, told Tudum.
