"Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 3 doesn't hesitate to give its main characters their just desserts. While the show sweeps several members of its extensive cast to the sidelines out of necessity, Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence's (William Zabka) inner circles get perfectly satisfactory happy endings, each tailor made for the character in question. Likewise, the franchise's two biggest overarching antagonists get a thematically appropriate send-off, as 1980s uber-villains John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) die in an explosive and extremely 1980s-coded yacht punch-up.

Part 3 of Cobra Kai‘s finale has premiered its final trailer, courtesy of Netflix, and the show is inevitably taking it all back to where it started at the All-Valley Tournament. Imagery of nostalgia continues as shots of Daniel and his now ally, Johnny, both train in the crane kick on the beach like in the original Karate Kid and a trailer mix of “You’re the Best Around” will pump you up for the final round of karate combat.

On Thursday, Netflix revealed its full 2025 TV slate. Okumoto said in a private talk that Chozen is still looking for happiness in his personal life while also taking care of his duties. One of the actors said, “He has a lot of unfinished business in Okinawa.” The main theme of his story will be putting young fighters’ training first, especially as they prepare for the Sekai Taikai competition.

Production on the sixth and final season of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Kid film franchise, was delayed several months due to the writers and actors strikes last year – but the extended wait was worth it, because the show is wrapping up with a 15 episode season (previous seasons consisted of 10 episodes) that has been split up to make it a three part event. Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso and their students are headed overseas to compete in the international Sekai Taikai tournament in a new trailer for “Cobra Kai” Season 6 Part 2, which will drop on Netflix on Nov. 15.

The trailer shows the group landing in Barcelona, Spain and the group entering the doors of the karate competition, where they’re set to face off against 15 other teams. In addition to new rivals, Miyagi-Do will also deal with the fallout of Tory Nichols (Peyton List) defecting to Cobra Kai, while also fighting to stay united as internal rivalries bubble to the surface.

Do we really need a three-part final season of “Cobra Kai”? Netflix thinks so.

Trailers-wise, we are officially two-thirds of the way through the sixth and final season of the “Karate Kid” sequel series, which started way back in 2018 as a YouTube Premium show. Remember those days?

Since then, “Cobra Kai” has settled in nicely at Netflix. It’s a reliable series, though not an all-timer.
