It's time. After a prolonged hiatus due to circumstances beyond her control, Lane Moore is finally heading back out on the road this August with her hugely popular comedy show Tinder Live. And it promises to be the best party of the summer. Then as the season winds down, the stand-up comedian, author, director, actor, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will continue to swipe right across America with her dating app-centric tour well into the fall.

Lane will hit the ground running with her first show on August 9 in Boulder, Colorado. And on October 16, she will bring it all to a close with her final stop in Providence, Rhode Island. With thirty stops planned over the next three months, do hope that she is coming to a town near you, because this is the one live comedy show of 2021 you definitely don't want to miss. Ellen DeGeneres Says She ‘Had No Idea’ Another Comic Originated ‘Tinder Live’ Game
Ellen DeGeneres in American Idol (2002)
Ellen DeGeneres has responded to a comedian who said that she originally created a “new game” that DeGeneres played on her show Monday.

DeGeneres trotted out a game with guest Sarah Silverman that she dubbed “Tinder Live,” in which DeGeneres played matchmaker with Silverman and did some live swiping of some celebrity hotties.

Comedian Lane Moore, who has hosted her own show called “Tinder Live” for nearly five years, told DeGeneres on Twitter that it has a Wikipedia page and has been featured in The New York Times.

“Glad it all worked out,” Silverman tweeted.

‘Bachelorette’ Fans Drag Virginia Hard After That Heavy-Handed Tourism Pitch, Err, Episode
Jenn Tran in The Bachelorette (2003)
“The Bachelorette” was all about romance Monday night — and promoting the state of Virginia. However, not many viewers were up for the trip to the Old Dominion, even though Va’s official slogan is “Virginia is for lovers.” If fans were looking for somewhere a little more “traditionally” amorous, well, sorry.

Becca Kufrin and her boys headed to Richmond on the state tourism board’s dime and were probably a little too into the history-packed field trip, ’cause fans took to Twitter to call Bs.

“No offense to the state of Virginia, but by week 6 of the Bachelorette these guys were definitely expecting to be in Italy,” one user tweeted. “This is the most low budget season I’ve seen. Only One randomly placed hot tub and no yachts yet!!!”

‘Stranger Things 2’ Reinforced a Sexist and Ubiquitous Trope, But Season 3 Could Fix That
In the first season of “Stranger Things,” the quartet of young men (“the party,” to use the parlance of Dungeons and Dragons) is clearly a direct homage to the show’s love of Stephen King (many of King’s narratives revolve around similar friend groups). Nearly any child of the ’80s and ’90s will fondly remember, as a part of their youth, watching cartoons. And for boys, there was a lot of fun to be had in identifying with certain characters. You could be a “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” fan, but more intellectual types might consider themselves to be Donatello, while a more rebellious boy might prefer to don the red eye mask of Raphael.

Meanwhile, if you were a girl...
