Known for illustrating the Sword Art Online light novel series, etc., "abec", otherwise known as BUNBUN, is a Japanese illustrator. Most of his works are for When the SAO book project started, the work came to this person under the name of Abec, which was the beginning of the relationship with the work, and since then related works have been passed under this name. Under the name of Abec, he won "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2011" 6th place in the illustrator category, and for "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2012" he won third place in the same category, and for "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!" In 2013, he won first place in the same category.
Animator Yukiko Horiguchi is his older sister. His biological father was the former deputy mayor of Yawata City, Fumiaki Horiguchi, who was elected mayor of the city on February 12, 2012.
