Award-winning composer, writer, producer and an artist, Tim Blast is very enthusiastic and open minded about any aspect of film-making. He taught himself guitar at the age of 14 and piano at the age of 17. These days Tim plays a 9 string guitar, 5 string extended range bass, 5 string cello, drums, piano, harp, Celtic flute and harmonica.
Tim Blast got his very first break in the film industry as a additional music composer for a feature film "Born Wild". After the success of the film, Tim has worked on dozens of films, TV shows, video games and new media projects. In addition to the traditional work for hire scoring jobs, Tim has released 5 trailer music albums that received placements on major film trailers, TV shows and advertisements.
Tim has made original music for numerous mobile games and VR content. He is always looking for new creative and innovative ways to produce exciting and soul touching music.
Tim's music genre has been described as enigmatic, heavy yet beautiful hybrid orchestral style with metal and industrial influences.
Tim grew up in Almaty, Kazakhstan and moved to United States at the age of 17 to pursue the career in music and film. He resides in Los Angeles, CA where he owns his Tim Blast Productions studio.
Apart from music, Tim produces NFT art and 3d models for printing and painting.
