Charlie Gillette is NY based award-winning Chilean-American actress & filmmaker born in Berlin, Germany, and raised as an army brat, which gave her the opportunity to experience life in various cities around the world and learn several languages such as Spanish and Japanese.

In an award-winning drama "Belle", we see her as a determined young woman who decided to break free from her seemingly predetermined life. And in her latest indie thriller "Versace Softboi", Charlie plays a courageous heroine who ventures outside her safe zone as she faces online dating's potential risks head-on.

Beyond her work as an actress, Charlie is a fearless filmmaker who isn't afraid to delve into complex themes. Since cutting her teeth writing for MTV's Skins, she's continued to take an unflinching approach to filmmaking, mixing styles, genres and techniques. Her debut feature film deals with the effects of shifting borders, nationalism and technology in an increasingly divided world on one young couple's relationship.Charlie's work has been featured in The Hollywood Reporter, Bustle, Teen Vogue, Elle, and I heard she even directs music videos in Japan.

She is a free spirit and artistic soul who practices ballet and figure skating in her free time.She is committed to using her platform to tell stories that matter and inspire others to pursue their dreams and passions
