Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Qianying "Joy" Zhou is a film producer, writer, and director. Graduated from New York Film Academy in the U.S., she's exceptionally strong in visual storytelling for multiple cultures. Her directing style is cinematically delightful, with a goal of showing the beauty of nature and the love between people.
Her short films are recognized internationally by screening at the Cannes Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, New Jersey Film Festival, etc. Joy also worked in camera department on a number of international films include: "The Great Wall"(2016), "The Farewell"(2019), "IMAX Pandas"(2018), etc.
