Exclusive: “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose,” goes the famous Dr. Seuss refrain – and the late author’s universe of characters are steering directly towards YouTube.
Dr. Seuss Enterprises is today launching Seuss Circle Time, an eight-part YouTube summer takeover series that supports early learning through storytelling, singing, dancing and interactive play. This is part of a major investment into the company’s YouTube channel following a massive spike in viewership.
The show will be hosted by presenters Ziggy and Tizzie and Dr. Seuss’ characters, with each 30-minute episode featuring music, games and learning activities in imaginative settings such as the Circle Time House and Truffula Forest, before hour-long episodes begin in September.
The series comes after the Dr. Seuss YouTube channel relaunched with new investment in July 2024, leading to subscriber growth of 1,084% and viewing up 993%, according to its own analysis.

Bill Hader or, at least, an animated character that he voices, will don a red-and-white striped top hat in a new adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ “The Cat in the Hat.”
The “Barry” star will lead a vocal ensemble that also includes Quinta Brunson (“Abbott Elementary”), Bowen Yang (“SNL”), Xochitl Gomez (“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”), Matt Berry (“What We Do in The Shadows”) and Paula Pell (“Girls5eva”). Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Dr. Seuss Enterprises officially announced the casting on Monday.
“The Cat in the Hat” will open in theaters on March 6, 2026. Although the book is a children’s classic, it has a checkered cinematic legacy. A 2003 live-action adaptation, starring Mike Myers as he was riding high off of “Austin Powers,” collapsed at the box office. It earned $134 million on a $109 million budget and became a money-loser when marketing and distribution costs were factored into the equation. It...

Six Dr. Seuss books will no longer be published due to racist and insensitive imagery. The announcement was made on Tuesday, which marks both the late author's birthday and "Read Across America Day." Effective immediately, And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street and five other titles will cease production as confirmed by Dr. Seuss Enterprises in a statement.

Warner Bros. Animation has partnered up with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to produce several animated feature films based on the stories and characters of Dr. Seuss! According to Variety, the first film they will be adapting for the big screen in The Cat in the Hat.
I love the books that Dr. Seuss wrote! I wish they would kick off this venture with another movie other than The Cat in the Hat, though. But, I guess that is the most popular character. I personally can't wait to see a Green Eggs and Ham movie!
Toby Emmerich, chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, said this is a statement:
"Our Pictures Group is home to some of the world’s most popular film franchises, and we’re honored to add Dr. Seuss titles to that roster. With Warner Animation Group, we’ve really revitalized our feature animation activities, and this partnership with Dr.
