DC Comics has just announced that its webcomic platform, DC Go!, is set to release six all-new stories for its ever-expanding digital catalog later this summer, with tales spotlighting DC mainstays like Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and more. A popular part of the DC Universe Infinite service, where subscribers can read exclusive content created specifically for their on-the-go devices, DC Go! getting even more original content is great news for this growing platform, especially after seeing what comics it has in store.

Already home to exclusive webcomics like Harley Quinn in Paradise, by Crc Payne, Siobhan Chiffon, and Cathy Le, and Nothing Butt Nightwing, by Patrick R. Young and May R. Marcon, DC Go! also offers reformatted versions of newly released and classic DC stories, making a DC Universe Infinite (Dcui) subscription a must-have for newcomers and diehard fans alike.

Exclusive: Filming is underway in Los Angeles on under-the-radar feature drama The Red Mask, starring Helena Howard (The Wilds), Inanna Sarkis (After), Jake Abel (Malignant) and Kelli Garner (Lars And The Real Girl).

The film marks the feature debut of Ritesh Gupta who has previously made commercials for brands including Budweiser and Beats. Writers are Samantha Gurash and Patrick Robert Young.

The synopsis reads: “When outspoken queer screenwriter Allina Green (Howard) is chosen to pen the final installment of legendary slasher franchise The Red Mask, anger, outrage and online death threats from die-hard fans causes a rift in her relationship with reticent fiancé Deetz (Sarkis). Desperate for a creative breakthrough, the pair escape to a secluded airbnb where Allina concocts a dangerous game for the two to play to unlock her writer’s block. But when two uninvited houseguests, Ryan and Claire, crash the scene, the weekend takes a dark turn.

Gravitas Ventures, an Anthem Sports & Entertainment Company, has acquired Worldwide rights to debut filmmaker G.S. Foxwood’s horror film Wild Eyed and Wicked, Bloody Disgusting has learned this morning. The film will be released on June 11, 2024 on digital and cable on demand outlets, with further details on the worldwide roll-out still to come.

Bloody Disgusting has been told, “The film blends elements of horror, familial drama, and fantasy to create a unique, emotionally powerful, and genuinely terrifying experience.”

Molly Kunz, Michael X. Sommers (Sense8), Stefanie Estes (Soft & Quiet), and Colleen Camp (Clue) star in the upcoming Wild Eyed and Wicked.

For example, some horror flicks task viewers with unmasking the mysterious antagonist alongside our main characters in scare-centric whodunit mashups.

And with the continued success of the Scream franchise proving that audiences are hungry for more mystery alongside the traditional blood and guts, we’ve decided to come up with a list recommending six lesser-known whodunit horror flicks for your viewing pleasure.

Since this list is meant to highlight underseen scary movies, we won’t be including more popular whodunits like the original Friday the 13th, Happy Death Day or any of the aforementioned Scream films. However, feel free to comment below with your own favorite whodunit horror flicks if you think we missed a particularly underrated one.

In order to be a hero in the DC Universe, Batman's approval is necessary. Known for being a mentor - and adopted father figure - to numerous orphaned youths, Batman has cemented his place in the Justice League. In three recent comics, the Caped Crusader has shown that he will provide opportunities for younger heroes - with caveats.

When it comes to preparing for trouble, Batman is leagues ahead of DC's heroes, going so far as to plan against his own allies. Fans have long been familiar with his preparation for the possibility of Superman or other heroes turning to evil. The Dark Knight has contingency plans for everyone and he is constantly conducting threat assessments for missions - whether anyone knows it or not. And while he's willing to give young heroes a shot, he's going to keep a close eye on them and have plans in place should they mess up.

Warning: Spoilers for Red Hood: Outlaws #18 ahead!Out of all of Superman's villains, few are equally silly and tragic as Bizarro, the backward Superman whose claim to fame consists of always saying the opposite of what he means. While Bizarro often appears in a sympathetic light (often being tricked or manipulated by others), his backward nature often leads to extremely silly moments. The inherent silliness of Bizarro turns to sadness, however, when his backward sensibilities are presented not as a quirk of character but as an extreme form of aphasia.

Red Hood: Outlaws Episode 11 ("All Aboard the Watchtower") and Episode 12 ("A Stone and a Hard Place") feature major developments in their relationship.This isn't the first time things have been heating up between them, but now fans may see this relationship sail. While Wonder Woman has had well-known relationships with Steve Trevor and Superman, her Amazonian counterpart Artemis has not had the same kind of recognition. However, she has had some romantic tension with Jason Todd in the past. Now, that relationship could be rekindling within this DC/Webtoon series—though not without some serious conflict ahead.

Contains spoilers to Red Hood: Outlaws Episode 11!Despite their intense rivalry, Red Hood has finally admitted that he shares major similarities with Nightwing - even though the admission itself may have been accidental. Red Hood: Outlaws Episode 11 ("All Aboard the Watchtower") shows Jason Todd's new team engaged with their latest responsibility. They are taking the place of the Justice League - and Batman's adopted son is doing it a little too well.

Jason Todd has teamed up with Bizarro and Artemis to form their own Trinity and pave their own way as the Outlaws. After botching one of Martian Manhunter's responsibilities, the team has been allowed to take over the Watchtower in the Justice League's stead while things are set right. While Jason may not want to be like his brother Dick, he sure has managed to follow in his footsteps.

While Batman's sidekicks have worked alongside the Justice League before thanks to their mentor, Red Hood and his current team are taking the opportunity to take over the team's responsibilities. DC's partnership with Webtoon has resulted in four original webcomic series. Beginning with Batman: Wayne Family Adventures, the partnership has since expanded to include Vixen: NYC, Zatanna & the Ripper, and Red Hood: Outlaws. Jason Todd has been reunited with his Outlaw teammates, Artemis and Bizarro. This Trinity-esque team-up is not only giving fans more Red Hood, but also setting up the group for great success or epic failure.

Indie horror feature Bastard is now complete. This slasher feature follows a brother and a sister, with a serial killer stalking a remote town. The film's first spine-ripping trailer shows some of the film's makeup effects and dire scenarios. As well, Bastard stars Rebekah Kennedy (Season of the Witch) and Tonya Kay (Raze). Two are serial killers, another character is a suicidal cop. In the middle of these three, a sister and brother try to stay alive, on an isolated mountain retreat.
