Korean Music Festival in Los Angeles Postponed Amid Coronavirus Scare
Super Junior
Amid coronavirus-scare travel restrictions, the annual Korea Times Music Festival has been postponed, festival organizers announced Tuesday.

“It is with deepest regret that we announce the postponement of the 18th Ktmf scheduled on April 25th, 2020, due to current travel restrictions in Asia,” organizers said in a statement. “We truly apologize for the inconvenience to those who have been looking forward to this event and ask for your kind understanding.”

2015 Teen Choice Awards: The Show, The Winners
As one of the hottest shows of the summer, the Teen Choice Awards gives young fans the opportunity to use their social media power to vote for their faves in TV, movies, and music. In case you missed it (or just want to relive it), we’re bringing you all the action from the 17th annual ceremony.

The exciting event, which took place last night (Sunday, August 16) at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, was hosted by Josh Peck, Gina Rodriguez and Ludacris. Celebrities lucky enough to take home a surfboard included Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Demi Lovato. Other big winners were “Pretty Little Liars,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “Furious 7,” and “Pitch Perfect.”

The big winner as the Year of the Goat began was the historical action movie Dragon Blade, starring Jackie Chan, John Cusack and Adrien Brody, which took $54.84 million in its opening four days, according to data from Entgroup. Asian trio team for China-focused fund
Hong Kong’s Media Asia, Korean talent management group Sm Entertainment and Taiwan’s Kbro Media have established a fund for joint investment in film and TV production aimed at Chinese-speaking audiences.

The fund, called the Dragon Tiger Fund, is launching with seed capital of $20m and aims to raise an initial $100m. Media Asia and Sm Entertainment will serve as co-managers with Kbro Media parent company Fubon Group as co-founder.

The agreement was signed at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing yesterday, by Media Asia chairman Peter Lam, Sm Entertainment chairman Lee Shoo Man and Kbro Media chairman Leon Lu.

It was also agreed that Media Asia would serve as the exclusive Chinese agent for Sm Entertainment’s artists, including singer Jang Ri-in and K-pop bands Super Junior, f(x) and Exo.

The agreement is part of a growing trend for East Asian countries to work together to gain a foothold in the booming...
