15 Best Dimension 20 Seasons, Ranked
Jasmine Bhullar, Aabria Iyengar, Carlos Luna, Isabella Roland, Freddie Wong, Emily Axford, Brennan Lee Mulligan, Danielle Radford, Hank Green, Jujubee, Jacob Wysocki, Rekha Shankar, Brian Murphy, Ally Beardsley, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, Ify Nwadiwe, Alex Song-Xia, Mike Trapp, Alaska Thunderfuck, Bob the Drag Queen, Monét X Change, Jasper William Cartwright, and Lou Wilson in Dimension 20 (2018)
With over twenty seasons to its name, Dimension 20's varied and hilarious seasons have helped make DropOut one of the best streamers available. Dimension 20 is similar to other actual play shows like Critical Role, where the cast of talented performers improvise their way through a massive story bolstered by TTRPGs like Dungeons & Dragons and Kids on Bikes. However, whereas Critical Role campaigns can last over a hundred episodes, Dimension 20 frequently hops between casts and settings for shorter seasons that range between 4 and 20 episodes. Trying to figure out which seasons are the best can be deceptively tricky.

Make no mistake, each of the show's over twenty seasons have their own strengths. The nature-focused "Burrow's End" and "Mice & Murder," the noir-style Inside Out world of "Mentopolis," the monster college of "Shriek Week," and "Tiny Heist's" fairy-folk heist are all strong solo-season stories, and the various other...

‘Dimension 20: Never Stop Blowing Up’ Went Full Action Movie — with an Animated Twist
Image
Dropout’s “Dimension 20” is known for its genre mash-ups. Its “Fantasy High” and “The Unsleeping City” seasons transpose the concerns and archetypes of high fantasy into a John Hughes-esque high school movie and the urban legend that is New York City. “Mentopolis” takes the tropes of a film noir and crams it inside a single mind, a la “Inside Out,” while “A Crown of Candy” forces a “Game of Thrones” world of magical realpolitik to wield the weapons of “Candyland” in order to slake its sugar/bloodlust.

So there’s something comforting — and deceptively simple — about the series’ latest season, “Never Stop Blowing Up.” In the main, it is an ode to the absurdity of action movies, from renegade cops and powerful mobsters to master assassins and omnipotent hackers to James Bond-esque agents and racing drivers who solve worldwide conspiracies with the power of… cars. The mash-up comes...

Spoiler Alert for “Ratfish (Part 1)”: Coming out in 2019 after the success of unscripted content for Dropout, Game Changer was an instant hit on the platform. Rooster Teeth To Debut ‘Star Wars’-Themed Sketch Comedy Series In November 2015
Rooster Teeth has a new series within a series set to take advantage of one of the biggest entertainment events of the last decade. The Fullscreen-owned Austin production company will run the sketch comedy and Star Wars spoof series Troopin’ starting November 2015 during its Colton Dunn-hosted show Rooster Teeth Entertainment System (Rt-es).
