Good Smile Company just gave Hatsune Miku fans exactly what they didn't know they needed: Nendoroid Hatsune Miku 3.0. The Japanese figure manufacturer dropped an official announcement for the third iteration of the popular Vocaloid during its recent "Nendoroid Funs" live stream.
The "3.0" designation isn't just marketing fluff -- Good Smile Company is one of Japan's leading collectible figure manufacturers, and has been using Miku releases to test its latest Nendoroid tech for years. The original Miku Nendoroid was solid but basic. Version 2.0 brought better articulation and improved face plates. Now, 3.0 promises even more improvements across the board, plus new accessories and sculpting enhancements that should make this the definitive Miku figure for fans.

Lucky Cyan’s debut in To Be Hero X‘s episode 8 was refreshing, to say the least. The heroes previous to her were all about battles and a troubled present. Whereas the donghua focused on Cyan’s troubled past from the outset, it showcased her musical capabilities.
Of course, one can already anticipate that a battle is soon to begin, especially after the cliffhanger in episode 9. But in the meantime, fans can still enjoy Cyan’s songs and her concerts as a big shot pop star. In the midst of this, fans have already begun creating comparisons between her and another extremely popular Vocaloid.
Fans are referring to Lucky Cyan as To Be Hero X‘s Hatsune Miku Hatsune Miku from Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing | Credits: Sega, P.A. Works
At first glance, anyone can tell that Lucky Cyan’s design is reminiscent of Hatsune Miku.

If you manage to survive through the cringe fest served in the guise of narrative in Netflix’s Bet, a ludicrous live-action adaptation of the acclaimed manga/animeKakegurui, then be prepared for the disappointment of generic, caricature-ish character portrayal. Set in a prep school for elites where hierarchy is determined by gambling prowess and education, much like any teen drama of the late 90s, which is of the least importance, Bet features privileged, amoral, snobbish, attention-starved teenagers and focuses on their shenanigans. Parental issues are a common factor of misery for all the major characters, which also defines their perspective and actions as seen throughout the series. One aspect of the source material I will appreciate for sure is that it features majorly female players in the lead, which is a clever counter to the general sexist mindset regarding gambling, aside from being a strong instance of representation.

After teasing its upcoming collaboration with an initial post nearly a month ago, McDonald's is now running a limited-time campaign featuring Hatsune Miku in celebration of March 9, aka Hatsune Miku Day.
In February, McDonald's Japan announced a special collaboration with a post on X (formerly Twitter) showing a silhouette of what was very obviously Hatsune Miku. It was no surprise to fans just a day later when McDonald's posted a clean image of Miku to announce the collaboration between their "Shaka Shaka" fries and Hatsune Miku, joking that it would not involve anything green onion-flavored -- a nod to the food item most commonly associated with Miku. Instead, the collaboration will see McDonald's Japan featuring its new "Shaka Shaka" flavors, as well as a new potato fries and chicken nuggets ("nage") set. The official video, posted today, can be seen below.

Based on a high school play by the Tokushima City High School Drama Club, “Swimming in a Sand Pool” does function intently like a stage play, but the fact that the majority of the story takes place inside a swimming pool makes it stand out from other similar productions.
Swimming in a Sand Pool is screening at Osaka Asian Film Festival
It is summer vacation, but high schoolers Kokoro and ‘pretty girl' Miku have been instructed by their Pe teacher, Yamamoto, to clean the swimming pool. The pool has been drained of water and is covered with sand from the baseball team's field, which lies just next to it. The girls are not exactly eager to do so under the blazing sun, while Miku soon has an argument with the teacher, since she is wearing make-up against the school rules. Furthermore, Chizuru, a rather quirky girl who is practicing her...

As famous as Hayao Miyazaki may be, he's not the only noteworthy anime film director – with many standout examples in the industry proving this. There are many anime film directors who have received praise due to their unique animation and writing styles, such as Science Saru's Masaaki Yuasa and Satoshi Kon. Even directors who are newer to the industry and don't have as large of a filmography as Miyazaki have proven themselves as a worthy contender in the anime film world.
When it comes to anime directors, the first director to come to mind is likely Hayao Miyazaki, and for good reason. Ever since founding Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki has created some of the most iconic films in not just anime, but animation, in general, and Spirited Away has especially earned him recognition for being the only anime film to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Hatsune Miku's long-awaited appearance at Coachella fulfills a promise from 2020, confirming her influence on the music scene. Miku's virtual origins and extensive discography make her Coachella performance a major step for the pop culture powerhouse. Despite being a fictional character, Miku's voice has created thousands of songs, highlighting the vibrant music community she represents.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has announced that Hatsune Miku, Japan's most prominent virtual diva, will be performing during the three-day event. This fulfills a promise that went unanswered for four years after disruptions to the 2020 event. While the idol is popular around the globe, seeing her at one of the most important music events in the world further confirms the influence Vocaloid programs have on the music scene.
Reported separately by Pop Base's X account and Crunchyroll, the digital performer will be appearing on Saturday on two different weekends in April.
