Biography

Yana Kuzova was born on March 3,1987 in Sofia,Bulgaria, into an artistic family. Her father was a director at the Bulgarian National Television, and her mother was a flutist dedicated to sound engineering for film and television. Yana's grandfather, one of the first Bulgarian cinematographers, gave her her first lessons in filmmaking. Yana's acting career began at the age of 4, with her debut role in a television series.In 2011, Yana graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. She was honored with an "Askeer Prize" for her supporting role in "The House of Bernarda Alba - House of Anger," marking her first appearance on the professional stage. Yana is also known for her leading roles in some of Bulgaria's most successful TV series, including "Forbidden Love," where she starred as Nora at the age of 19 while still a student.
