Director Rob Willey has completed production on the wilderness based horror feature Dark Cove. This film was shot near Sombrio and French Beach in British Columbia. The film's official trailer shows some of the film's gorgeous settings, along with some of the movie's more nefarious characters. The clip is full of action and terror! Dark Cove involves a camping trip and five friends on a road trip. Together, Ian (Eliot Bayne), Quinn (Willey), Jen (Montanna McNalley), Joey (Rob Abbate), and Donnie (Cameron Crosby) find paradise. Partying and jokes run through the night. But, a hallucinogenic drug trip leads to a brutal situation; now, one person is dead and one group of Australian surfers is looking for revenge. Dark Cove has been submitted to several film festivals, recently. This title is expected to begin a film festival run, later this year (2014). Local director Rob Willey has recently released the first trailer for his upcoming feature Dark Cove. This camping-in-the-woods thriller deals with an adventurous surf trip that quickly spirals into chaos and murder.
