Diddy appeared in court today for a hearing ahead of his May 5 trial.

And according to numerous courtroom reporters, the disgraced hip hop mogul looked considerably worse for wear.

As you’re probably aware, Diddy has been locked up at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since September of last year.

And it seems that all those months behind bars have taken a toll on the rapper.

During today’s hearing, Diddy pled not guilty on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.

That part was expected. What caught many court reporters off guard, however, was Diddy’s appearance.

When it was announced last month that Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass are bringing Jason Bourne back to the big screen, many wondered what that meant for The Bourne Legacy sequel that is in development, starring Jeremy Renner as Aaron Cross. Jeremy Renner revealed last month that his Aaron Cross project is still happening. He now offers new details in an interview with Crave Online, where he reveals that the writers are still finishing the script while director Justin Lin is working on the first two episodes of True Detective Season 2.

Earlier today, a report surfaced that Matt Damon, who played Jason Bourne in Universal Pictures' action trilogy The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, will reprise his popular role in the studio's sequel to The Bourne Legacy. Producer Frank Marshall has now debunked that report, stating that the decision to move the sequel from August 2015 to July 2016 was not because Matt Damon is coming back, but because the script is still not ready yet. Here's what the producer had to say in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, confirming that the story centers on Aaron Cross, played by Jeremy Renner in 2012's The Bourne Legacy.

Earlier this week, Universal Pictures announced that its sequel to 2012's action-thriller The Bourne Legacy has been shifted from a August 14, 2015 release to July 15, 2016, reportedly to make room for the studio's biopic Straight Outta Compton which took the August 14, 2015 slot. An unconfirmed report from Latino-Review claims the real reason for the delay is that Matt Damon has finally agreed to reprise his role as Jason Bourne.

It isn't clear how director Justin Lin managed to convince Matt Damon to come back, especially since the actor has repeatedly stated in the past that he will only return to the franchise if The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum director Paul Greengrass is back at the helm. The actor did reveal last month that he is open to returning, if he and Paul Greengrass can find a story they like, even suggesting that fans submit their own stories to Universal Pictures.

Universal Pictures has handed out an August 14, 2015 release date for their Untitled Jason Bourne Sequel, a follow-up to last year's The Bourne Legacy. The sequel will be going up against The Smurfs 3 in that date.

Jeremy Renner is reprising his role as Aaron Cross in the action-thriller, with Justin Lin coming on board last month to direct. Anthony Peckham is writing the script based on characters created by novelist Robert Ludlum. No story details have been released at this time, and it isn't known when production may begin.

In related news, the studio has issued an August 8, 2014 release date for Lucy, putting it up against The Hundred-Foot Journey, Into the Storm and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Writer-director Luc Besson's film stars Scarlett Johansson as a young woman who develops into a dangerous assassin after being taken captive. Morgan Freeman and Min-sik Choi co-star in the action project, which is currently in production.

Fast & Furious 6 director Justin Lin is moving on to another Universal Pictures franchise, by signing on to direct The Bourne Legacy sequel.

We reported in August that the sequel is moving forward with Anthony Peckham (Sherlock Holmes, Invictus) writing the screenplay. Jeremy Renner is expected to return as Treadstone agent Aaron Cross, although no other cast members have been confirmed at this time.

Justin Lin will also produce alongside Frank Marshall, Jeffrey M. Weiner and Ben Smith. No production schedule was given at this time, but the project is still considered a high priority at Universal. The Bourne Legacy took in more than $275 million worldwide last year.

It's also worth noting that, back in August, a rumor circulated that Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass were in talks to return to the franchise, although the filmmaker debunked the story shortly thereafter.

Universal Pictures has hired screenwriter Anthony Peckham (Sherlock Holmes) to write a follow-up to 2012's The Bourne Legacy, continuing the story of Jeremy Renner's character Aaron Cross.

The Bourne Legacy, which earned $276 million worldwide last summer from a $125 million budget, followed Aaron Cross, one of the agents in Operation Outcome who was genetically enhanced to be a superior soldier. When the government decides to eliminate all of these covert operatives, Cross goes on the run and targets those trying to take him out.

Back in February, Universal's Adam Fogelson confirmed that a sequel was in the works, but this is the first we've heard about the project since then. The executive also mentioned the possibility of the original Bourne trilogy star Matt Damon returning as Jason Bourne, although insiders claim the studio hasn't made any progress in getting the actor to come back. Universal Chairman Adam Fogelson helped push the studio to its highest-grossing year worldwide in 2012, with hits like Ted, Dr. Seuss' the Lorax and Les Miserables pulling in millions of dollars at the box office. Universal Pictures is aiming to make sequels from two of its biggest summer hits, the raunchy R-rated comedy Ted and the action-thriller spin-off The Bourne Legacy. NBC Universal CEO Steve Burke spoke at the 2012 Media, Communications & Technology conference in Los Angeles earlier today, where he revealed that the film division needs, "franchises and animation" to achieve a level of stability.

They already have an uber-popular franchise in The Fast and the Furious, with the latest installment, The Fast and the Furious 6, currently in production and set for release next summer. The executive also revealed that fans should expect a sequel to The Bourne Legacy, which has taken in over $180 million worldwide in just over a month.

Ted, directed by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, was the biggest surprise hit this summer, taking in a whopping $394 million worldwide. Steve Burke revealed that they want to get a sequel going, "as soon as we can.
