Hulk Hogan‘s death comes one month before he was set to debut his latest project on TV. Fox Nation announced on Monday, July 21, that the streaming service would air the debut matches of Hogan’s new Real American Freestyle wrestling league, which he cofounded with Eric Bischoff and Chad Bronstein earlier this year. In the wake of the former pro wrestler’s death, a Fox Nation source tells TV Insider that the network will move forward with streaming Real American Freestyle’s two inaugural events. The league’s first-ever event, RAF01, will be broadcast from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, August 30. The “Solar Opposites” sixth and final season will premiere on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ on Oct. 13.

The upcoming season will release all 10 episodes at once, with episodes featuring guest stars Tiffany Haddish, Kieran Culkin, Christina Hendricks, Ken Marino, Alfred Molina, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Beck Bennett.

The official description for Season 6 reads, “ Once their alien diamond-making machine gets destroyed, the Solar Opposites must face their greatest challenge yet: living their expensive lives on a budget. When their consumerist habits and expensive hobbies are gone, only their true selves will remain, but will they like who they find? Also, the epic story of the people of The Wall has all built to this thrilling and shocking conclusion.”

The voice cast of the series includes Dan Stevens, Thomas Middleditch, Mary Mack and Sean Giambrone. “Solar Opposites” is executive produced by Mike McMahan, Josh Bycel and Sydney Ryan and produced by 20th Television Animation.

The deal is the second live sports agreement made by Fox Nation in recent months.

On Monday, Fox Nation announced that it would serve as the exclusive broadcast partner of “Real American Freestyle” wrestling, a new promotion launched with the help of WWE legend Hulk Hogan. Raf will blend elements of both traditional Olympic-style freestyle wrestling and professional wrestling for the first time.

Fox Nation is getting into the ring as the exclusive broadcast partner for Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Chad Bronstein’s “Real American Freestyle,” which aims to bring amateur-style wrestling to the mainstream.

The streamer will air the inaugural match-up, RAF01, on Aug. 30 at Cleveland’s Wolstein Center and has secured the rights to a second event taking placing this fall, with a venue to be announced at a later date.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Real American Freestyle team as they build a visionary brand that redefines the future of wrestling,” Fox Nation president Lauren Petterson said in a Monday statement. “Fusing elite athleticism with unmatched entertainment, it’s an honor to be part of the new era of the world’s oldest and most iconic sport.”

Fox Nation said that the events will provide an “exhilarating experience, packed with action and an immersive show atmosphere.”

Bronstein, co-founder and CEO of Real American Freestyle, said in a statement that the Fox Nation partnership “will create a platform the athletes deserve and bring freestyle wrestling to our fans at home.”
