John Rambo: Noah Centineo to star in Millennium’s Rambo origins prequel
Noah Centineo
According to Deadline, The Recruit star Noah Centineo is locked and loaded for Millennium Media’s John Rambo origins film. The project hails from Sisu director Jalmari Helander, who directs from a script by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. There are many details to iron out, but if all goes well, John Rambo could shoot in Thailand in the fall.

Plot details for John Rambo remain a mystery, but the film is likely to focus on the early military career of the legendary Vietnam War veteran made famous by Sylvester Stallone. John Rambo, created by David Morell in his novel First Blood, is one of the most iconic characters in U.S. cinematic history. The tough-as-nails role helped put Stallone on the map and pave the way for other titans of the action genre.

In the 1982 classic First Blood, John Rambo is a Green Beret forced by a corrupt sheriff...

WWE’s Bron Breakker on Learning From Paul Heyman & Seth Rollins and Remembering Hulk Hogan
Image
Bron Breakker is on the cusp of taking his WWE career to the next level. It’s not every day someone gets the better of Roman Reigns and leaves him laying at the end of a Raw on Netflix. As the son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner, intensity and greatness from a family of Hall of Famers clearly runs through his veins. The football player turned pro wrestler has also been gaining valuable experience working with the likes of Paul Heyman and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The emerging talent continues to turn heads with some of the most devastating spears. He even went viral after the one he delivered on popular YouTuber IShowSpeed at the Royal Rumble. Breakker came into WWE with athletic ability but has really gained confidence as a performer in recent months. That can arguably be attributed to the onscreen alliance collectively known...

The Pickup: Why Roman Reigns’ Cameo Is Way Better Than Fast and Furious With Dwayne Johnson
Image
Roman Reigns’ brief appearance in Prime Video’s The Pickup is winning over fans, and it slams harder than any car stunt from the Fast and Furious spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw. Reigns’ cameo appears at the end of the movie. The WWE star delivered a perfectly timed comedic cameo that feels more impactful than his big-screen turn alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

He plays an unnamed Mma fighter headlining a casino fight night. The scene is a key moment during the movie’s heist sequence, where Russel (Eddie Murphy), Travis (Pete Davidson), and Zoe (Keke Palmer) are trying to rob the casino. Zoe tricks him into thinking his opponent had insulted him. Then he storms off and clears the way for the crew.

The scene is meant to poke fun at the wrestling culture, where the wrestlers usually fight to exaggerate the drama. That’s exactly what makes the sports entertaining,...

WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia: WWE Will Never Be the Same Again If This Report Is True
Image
Is WrestleMania going to Saudi Arabia? According to exclusive reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via The Takedown), a potential move might be taken by WWE where the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be getting its own WrestleMania from 2027. Thus, staging the same PPV twice a year, once in the United States and the other in Saudi Arabia. The report said,

It’s been well known that Saudi Arabia has been pushing for a WrestleMania for years now, and history shows that they are willing to pay a giant fee to get it. This could also turn into a ‘Super WrestleMania’ situation, akin to the Greatest Royal Rumble, by having two WrestleManias in 2027 instead of one.

The report further emphasized another key event from the possible PPV, where the country is pushing Dwayne Johnson to headline the show. The idea of The Showcase of the Immortals being held twice a...

WWE Raw Preview Aug. 11: Naomi defends the Women's World Championship Against Iyo Sky
Image
Last week’s episode of Raw had it all — a wild burn from Becky Lynch to Nikki Bella, Penta rocking Xavier Woods’ giant hat, and a monumental main event as LA Knight faced Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. It seemed like Knight’s best shot, as Rollins had no assistance from his squad after Raw General Manager Adam Pearce barred Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed from ringside.

But it was Cm Punk who came from out of nowhere to attack his longtime nemesis Rollins, resulting in Knight being disqualified and ultimately opening the door for Breakker and Reed to pop up and attack Knight and Punk.

Roman Reigns arrived at the ring to assist Knight and Punk, but was ultimately overpowered by Rollins, Reed, Breakker — at the end of the night, it was the latter three, Paul Heyman’s coalition The Vision, who where left standing.

Roman Reigns’ Quentin Tarantino-Style Strategy Could Change His Hollywood Career
Image
Roman Reigns is Hollywood-bound, and he has adopted the Quentin Tarantino strategy that will make him the next Dwayne Johnson. During an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, The Tribal Chief spilled the beans on how he decided to be extremely selective about his films, similar to Tarantino, keeping his calendar open for other ventures.

While talking to the media outlet, Reigns shared that his WWE contract is nearing its end, and he thinks that it’s time to take on a less physically intense form of entertainment. Thus, hinting at transitioning to the film industry and doing roles that intrigue him. He said,

After I finish the contract that I’m in, we probably got another year or two max. Then it’s time to take on a less physical form of entertainment. I almost want to model it after Tarantino, where we’re not just doing anything and everything.

What Did John Cena Say to Cody Rhodes After Losing the WWE Title to Him?
Image
After losing to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2025, John Cena was seen whispering something to the American Nightmare, which made him emotional. Cena was asked about those words during an interaction with Adam’s Apple. Choosing discretion, the Cenation leader made it clear that the conversation that took place between them at MetLife Stadium would remain a secret.

Several factors could have contributed to the fact that the 17-time World Champion decided to keep it a secret between him and Rhodes. However, no one denies the fact that emotions were running high for both WWE superstars following a historic clash between them.

You Won’t Have to Pay $30 to Watch WWE Ple If You Have This After Its $1.6 Billion ESPN Move
Image
WWE has shaken the wrestling community once again, as it has reached an agreement for a billion-dollar deal with ESPN. The agreement has led to some major confusion among the domestic fans, who believe that paying $30 for only PPVs is too hefty a price. However, all their worries will come to an end, as not everyone is bound to pay the massive fee of $30 per month to watch their favorite WWE PLEs.

Following the confusion, CNBC’s Alex Sherman took to X, where he clarified the misleading information around the rise in price for the monthly premium live events by World Wrestling Entertainment. He wrote,

To answer a question I’ve now received several times — there will be no up charge on the WWE PLEs from ESPN. You’ll get them all with your $29.99 per month subscription, I’m told. And cable subs will automatically get the ESPN d-to-c product thru authentication.

John Cena’s Best Finisher Looks Like a Joke After Losing to Cody Rhodes
Image
The match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2025 was a hot topic, featuring a spectacle of a street fight, marked by Brock Lesnar’s return. However, fans were visibly upset with how poorly the entire match was booked, making the challenger destined to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. Worse than that, Rhodes made the Goat’s finisher look like a joke.

During the match, Cena executed a total of 8 Attitude Adjustments to Cody Rhodes, including one on the announcer’s table, on the ramp, and an Avalanche AA, but to everyone’s surprise, he kicked out. The whole match looked like a joke because this is the same move that has defeated the likes of Aj Styles, Randy Orton, Dwayne Johnson, Big Show, and many more.

What made it frustrating was that the move not only lost its essence, but also how a double Cross Rhodes was enough to put away the champ.

Emmy Should Be Ashamed of Itself: Paul Heyman Credits Roman Reigns for WWE’s Billion Dollar Deal
Image
Did the Emmys snub a major performance ahead of their awards ceremony? Well, according to Paul Heyman, they did, by refusing to acknowledge Roman Reigns’ Tribal Chief persona! Despite being The Oracle for Seth Rollins, Heyman could not help but sing praises of the Otc.

Appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, Paul Heyman acknowledged Reigns as the “most transformative performer” that he has worked with in his entire career, recalling how his contribution has transcended the wrestling business and made him the “most ruthless character on television.” He said,

Joe Anoa’i’s portrayal of the tribal chief, Roman Reigns, was the most compelling villain on television and the most ruthless character I’ve seen to this day. Um, and the fact, and we’ve discussed this before, that the Emmy Awards do not recognize these performances is a blight upon the Emmy Awards. They should be ashamed of themselves for...

The Only WWE Title John Cena Has Not Won in His 23-Year-Long Career
Image
John Cena has yet to win one prestigious title in the WWE, the Intercontinental Championship. And since he missed out on this recognition, he is one of the few WWE longtimers to not have a Grand Slam in his career. After winning his record 17th Championship title at WrestleMania 41 this year, Cena would love to add a Grand Slam title to the mix as well.

In WWE, the Grand Slam Championship is an honor bestowed upon wrestlers who have won at least four certain titles in their career. Interestingly, a wrestler must have achieved the Triple Crown Championship by winning three titles to achieve the Grand Slam with the fourth one. However, only winning the WWE Championship would earn you the Triple Crown title.

So, what does he need to become a Grand Slam Champion? According to the modern rules, a WWE wrestler should have held the following titles to...

After Raw Went off Air (August 5): Huge Brawl Erupts Involving Top WWE Superstars Including Cm Punk
Image
Monday Night Raw at Brooklyn was as nerve-wrecking as it could’ve been. Several prominent WWE superstars clashed with one another after the show went off-air. This particularly involved Cm Punk, who interfered during the main event of the night against Seth Rollins and LA Knight with the World Heavyweight title on the line.

These behind-the-scenes incidents exposed the realities of storylines in the company. While Seth Rollins’s power-packed faction appears to be becoming a dominant force, the babyface faction WWE is trying to position against them simply lacks the synergy required to work as a team. The altercation after the show also points out how Triple H is overcrowding the contenders for the World Heavyweight title.

In light of this consequential development, let’s examine in detail the off-air happenings at the red roster.

If that wasn’t entertainment enough for the fans, Reigns, Punk and LA Knight all got into a heated exchange of words and barbs that was caught on camera by the WWE fans.

‘WWE SummerSlam 2025: Night 1’ Review
Image
Night 1 of WWE’s first-ever two-night SummerSlam was a spectacle packed with drama, surprises, and a massive twist to close the show! Things kicked off with a high-energy opening segment, and from the jump, it was clear WWE wanted this to feel like a blockbuster event. The crowd was buzzing, and the stadium setting gave everything a larger-than-life feel. But the card itself didn’t always live up to that scale.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill for the Women’s Championship was a short but impactful bout. Stratton dominated more than expected, brushing off Cargill’s power offence and dispatching her in under 10 minutes. It was a definitive win, but arguably too decisive for what was billed as a marquee women’s match.

In tag team action, Randy Orton and Jelly Roll teamed up to face Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. This was better than it had any right to be.

As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse.

Review: Twenty years ago, a film by director Tim Story and star Eddie Murphy would have been a slam dunk that would have debuted in thousands of movie theaters during the summer blockbuster season. With comedies, especially R-rated ones, not pulling in the exact box office numbers they used to, we find projects like The Pickup on streaming platforms like Prime Video. The Pickup has some solid star power with Murphy leading the cast opposite Pete Davidson, Keke Palmer, and Eva Longoria. Still, the heist comedy is not action-packed...

In just two days, comedy icons Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson are about to join forces for a heist they never asked for in The Pickup. The new action comedy casts the pair of Saturday Night Live alumni as mismatched armored truck drivers who, during what should have been a routine, if lengthy, job, are ambushed and forced into a high-risk scheme orchestrated by the criminal mastermind Zoe, played by Nope star Keke Palmer. Before their very bad day spins out of control on streaming, though, Collider is partnering with Prime Video to share an exclusive sneak peek introducing the three main characters and their clashing personalities. It serves as a behind-the-scenes preview of how the chaotic film from director Tim Story came together.

After a brief scene showcasing the odd-couple at the center of The Pickup, Murphy teases his character, Russell, the no-nonsense married man who's about to have...

‘The Pickup’ Review: Eddie Murphy And Pete Davidson In A Pairing Long On Action And Short On Comedy
Image
In 1982’s hit action comedy 48 Hours, a young Eddie Murphy plays a wiseacre criminal on parole in order to help a veteran cop, played by Nick Nolte, solve a case. Murphy immediately shot to screen stardom in the role, garnering lots of laughs opposite Nolte’s straight-man partner. Forty-three years later the roles are reversed in Murphy’s latest — and least — streamer movie, The Pickup.

In this one it is basically pedal-to-the-medal action, high on octane and low on comedy at least from Murphy, who now is playing the straight man, an about-to-retire veteran armored truck driver who is paired with a bumbling wannabe cop as his cohort in delivering what starts out to be an ordinary pickup of cash when they are suddenly hijacked. Pete Davidson takes on that role and is responsible for whatever attempts at laughs there are in this thing. Davidson seems to be channeling a new-age Jerry Lewis here,...

After Seth Rollins’ SummerSlam Ruse, I’m Convinced Marvel Made a Huge Mistake Cutting Him Out of Captain America 4
Image
The MCU could’ve given Seth Rollins a villainous role in one of their films, and he would’ve excelled with his natural heel persona. Unfortunately, he was cut off from the franchise in Captain America: Brave New World. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, the star opened up about the possible reasons for his role being wiped from the film, saying:

Truth be told, any answer I gave you would only be my opinion on it. The script went through a lot of rewrites and reshoots and so what I was there to do… Essentially my role got either repurposed or completely erased.

The Architect yet again made history at SummerSlam when he played his ruse and cashed in on Cm Punk to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This was a work that truly fooled even industry professionals and pro wrestling gurus. At the same time, it...

12 Best Wrestlers Who Appeared In Comic Book Movies And TV Shows
Image
As the likes of All Elite Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment have become fully fledged entertainment brands, rather than just wrestling promotions, it's become more common to see the in-ring performers make the jump to Hollywood -- and no, not those awful movies like "The Chaperone," "The Marine 6: Close Quarters," or any of Hulk Hogan's questionable straight-to-video offerings. You only need to look at how Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns were cast in major roles as Guile and Akuma respectively in Kitao Sakurai's "Street Fighter" reboot movie. In the past, they may have been credited as Thug #1 and Thug #2 in some random action scene.

Considering how wacky the world of pro wrestling is, it's no surprise to see it cross over much more with comic book movies and TV shows. After all, pro wrestlers are simply superheroes in skimpier tights and with their own catchphrases -- and...

The usage of steroids in the wrestling business has long been popularized for decades. The current scene in WWE is much safer and cleaner, but that did not stop certain wrestlers from resorting to steroids.

What makes it all the more surprising is how some of the biggest and most notable names from the industry have confessed to using steroids. The list was not easy to compile, as several names were accused of using steroids, including Sin Cara, Scott Steiner, and John Cena, too.

Even Roman Reigns was not safe from the allegations, as his name was involved in a steroid scandal via Forbes. Nevertheless, here are the 12 WWE Superstars who have confessed to using steroids.
