This Valentine season the censor board is in the mood to fall in love with love. Four romantic films have been cleared with virtually no cuts.

First one off the shelf is Loveshhuda, a rom-com featuring Girish Taurani and debutante Navneet Kaur Dhillon on February 19. The film has been certified with a UA with no cuts. Though there were certain shots, dialogues and situations that were sexual in nature, the censor board raised no objection as the producer agreed to a 'UA'

However, the co-directors Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao of the other Valentine release Sanam Teri Kasam (which opens on 5th February) were keen on a 'U' certificate. So they were asked to snip off small portions of their dialogues.

Divya Khosla's love triangle Sanam Re featuring Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela which opens on February 12 has been certified with a 'U' and no cuts.

After the bumper success of Singh Is Bliing, director Prabhu Dheva reveals he is committed to direct films for as many as four production houses. But the one that is likely to happen first is a project which director Sriram Raghavan will produce. Confirming this Prabhu says, "I am committed to make a film for Sriram Raghavan's production house. I am also signed on to direct for Sanjay Dutt productions, Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Films and Mubina Rattonsey." Prabhu says all four projects await the correct actors. "The scripts are being worked out. But finally it's the actors. All the big stars male and female are booked for months and years. I don't know how to make the films that I am supposed to with the cast that I want." Mumbai, Aug 18: Boney Kapoor threw a bash to celebrate his wife and actress Sridevi's 50th birthday and the party was attended by some of the well-known names from filmdom, including her co-star Rishi Kapoor and actresses Shilpa Shetty and Sushmtia Sen.

The Saturday night party saw many B town celebrities coming and wishing Sridevi, who turned 50 Aug 13, such as director duo Abbas-Mustan, filmmakers Bunty Walia, Ramesh Taurani, Girish Taurani, Madhur Bhandarkar and Rajkumar Santoshi and musicians Anu Malik and Bappi Lahiri.

Hema Malini came with her daughter Esha and son-in-law Bharat Takhtani, while Juhi Chawla was seen with.

Mumbai, May 27: Actor Girish Taurani, who is making his acting debut with Prabhudheva's "Ramaiya Vastavaiya", believes keeping the audience happy will help him tread the right direction in his career.

"All my energy is invested here. In future, whatever work I do, my intention will be to do good work and keep my audience happy," Girish told Ians.

"Audience will always remain the king, and if they are pleased with you, they will take you ahead," said Girish.

The actor, son of producer Ramesh Taurani, says it doesn't matter what family one comes from. If you're talented, you're here to stay.

Mumbai, May 20: The looks of Girish Taurani, new kid on the block, are being compared to Saif Ali Khan and he says it's normal to be compared with a senior actor.

"Whenever a newcomer comes, people try to relate him with somebody. Many actors have been compared with established stars, so I think it's normal. I think it's a positive thing that they are comparing, but when you will see the film you will realise I am a different person," Girish, son of producer Kumar Taurani of Tips Industries, told Ians.

Girish, who is debuting with "Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya", looks up to Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

Mumbai, May 15: Actor Girish Taurani, son of producer Kumar Taurani, who is debuting with "Ramaya Vastavaiya", says his journey was not easy despite coming from a film background.

"Getting my first film was not really easy. Just because I am producer Kumar Taurani's son doesn't mean I did not struggle. I had my own share of struggle but not like other newcomers. But I am happy that I am debuting with Prabhu Devas film," Girish Taurani told reporters during the music launch of "Ramaya Vastavaiya".

Filmmaker Prabhu Deva, who has earlier worked with stars like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, is for the first time working with.

It was meant to be a grand reunion of the Rowdy Rathore club. Akshay Kumar, producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his partner Shabina Khan, and director Prabhu Dheva for the Hindi remake of the 2002 Tamil blockbuster Ramana. Sadly Prabhudheva had to opt out due to prior commitment leaving the Rowdy team with no choice but to get another director. Says a source, "While shooting Rowdy Rathore the team had decided to reunite for another Tamil remake. Ramana rights had been purchased by Sanjay Bhansali. And Prabhu was on board in principle. But then after Rowdy Rathore, he got exceedingly busy as a director with Ramaiya Vastavaiya, the film launching newcomer Girish Taurani followed by Rambo Rajkumar. After that Prabhu immediately goes into his film with Ajay Devgn." In fact the choice was between directing Akshay Kumar in the Ramana remake and Devgn in an untitled original film. However, Prabhu preferred to work with another actor.

The fire accident on the sets of Prabhu Dheva's Rambo Rajkumar earlier this week in Mumbai, was not as minor as it is being made out to be. Apparently, Shahid has got burn injuries on his back and hand, and would need some time to recover fully. Says a source very close the film, "We were shooting a fire sequence when the chemical used to create the fire went awry. It singed Shahid's shoulder and hand. It could've been much worse. Thankfully, nothing serious happened." The stunts in Rambo Rajkumar are getting more and more dare-devilish as Prabhu Dheva wants them to be one-up on what Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar did in Wanted and Rowdy Rathore. If Vashu Bhagnani has acquired the rights of the famous 'Gangnam Style' song for his son's film, then, Kumar Taurani also has got 'someone special' for his son Girish Taurani's launch film Ramaiya Vastavaiya. And that's 'someone special' is in the form of the gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been signed up for a special song in the film. The song, that's titled 'Jaadu Ki Jhappi De De Tu Abhi' will be picturised on her as well as Girish. News reports have it that, besides the duo, there's also the film's director Prabhu Dheva, who will be featuring in the song. Talking about the song, Taurani, who was all praise for Jacqueline, said that it was a three-day shoot held in Chandigarh. Manish Malhotra did the styling for Jacqueline in the song, while Jaya (Ramesh Taurani's daughter) styled Girish.
