This summer’s WorldPride Music Festival – a milestone 50th anniversary celebration scheduled to take place June 6-7 at Washington D.C.’s Rfk Festival Grounds — has zeroed in on its headliners.

Global superstar Jennifer Lopez and Grammy nominated Troye Sivan will front a lineup that will feature a roster of performers gracing three immersive stages across two days in genres ranging from pop, house, drag, Edm, techno and more.

“I’m so excited to perform at WorldPride in DC,” Sivan told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement. “At a time when community is more important than ever, celebrating love and pride feels like a necessity. Pride is all about joy, resilience, and making unforgettable memories, and I’m excited to be a part of this year’s celebrations.”

Dominque Jackson, Alex Newell, Leslie Jordan and Ross Mathews will be celebrating Pride Month with Discovery+ this year. The four have been announced as guest narrators for the upcoming docuseries “The Book of Queer,” set to launch on the streaming service June 2.

The upcoming special event series — which has its first-look featurette above —will feature five episodes, each of which tells the story of multiple historic and groundbreaking queer individuals throughout history. The subjects of the episodes span people that have lived across thousands of years, and include politicians, artists, activists, scientists and world leaders. Pride Live, a social advocacy and community engagement organization for the LGBTQ+ community, today announced its fourth annual Stonewall Day, a global campaign to elevate awareness and support for the Stonewall legacy and the continuing fight for full LGBTQ+ equality.

This year, Pride Live teams up with Outloud: Raising Voices, the award-winning Lgbtqia+ Pride artist series, to kick off Pride month with a three-day, one-of-a-kind global concert experience to be held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in the heart of Los Angeles.
