Excellent ‘Spawn: The Recall’ fan film from Michael Paris
1997’s Spawn, an adaptation of the popular Todd McFarlane comic character wasn’t the dark superhero horror film were hoping for, but a new fan film from director Michael Pairs in much more in line with what people want to see. Titled Spawn: The Recall, the eight-minute film is packed with memorable surreal and creepy images that lead up to a much dark and foreboding portrayal of the Hellspawn than Michael Jai White’s cheeseball performance.

The synopsis of the short from the film’s official Facebook page:

Synopsis Spawn : The Recall is the story of a former witch and her son, who try to live a normal life away from the darkness.

While they’re shopping in a supermarket, the child suddenly disappears. She starts looking for him, freaked out knowing evil forces are still lurking.

A security guard comes to her help but while they are checking on the surveillance cameras,...

Watch: Impressive Fan Film 'Spawn: The Recall' from Michael Paris
"You are lucky I found you first, child." Catch this dark, impressive fan film from Michael Paris. While there has been some talk of another Spawn movie in development, we haven't seen anything actually come together in years. There hasn't been anything since the Spawn movie from 1997 with Michael Jai White that most people despise. Paris decided to make his own Spawn film and the result is "The Recall", set mostly inside of a grocery story with some really cool scenes. It's impressive work for a fan film and shows just how much potential there is in great characters. Spawn fans will enjoy this the most, but it's entertaining for all. Thanks to Fs.net reader Ricardo for the tip on this short. Synopsis for Spawn: The Recall from YouTube: "The story of a former witch and her son, who try to live a normal life away from the darkness.

This Insane Spawn Fan Film Shouldn't Be Missed
If you are like me when people mention a Spawn movie, you think of the one film that was made and giggle a bit. The movie wasn't that great, and yet the comics are so awesome. McFarlane is a local here and he makes great Spawn comics. That being said, movie rumors float all the time and no studio ever takes the bait. You would think of the previous movie and not care, well let me change your mind! Check out this insane fan film!

The film is called Spawn: The Recall, and I'm blow away by it!

Believe it or not, but this film was made by one guy by the name Michael Paris. One guy did all the visuals and editing etc... and it came out that friggin awesome. It isn't just the badass Spawn that appears, but all the Candyland style tripping out and galaxy looking skies,...

Spawn: The Recall — Fan-Made Short Film
Over the years we've seen lots of fan films for lots of different comic book characters, but Todd McFarlane's Spawn isn't one we see too often. This short film is called "Spawn: The Recall," and it was directed by Michael Paris. It's pretty good for a fan made film and it has a couple of cool visuals. It's not the greatest short film in the world but I thought it'd be something that our readers would be interested in seeing. Here's a synopsis:

Spawn : The Recall is the story of a former witch and her son, who try to live a normal life away from the darkness. While they're shopping in a supermarket, the child suddenly disappears. She starts looking for him, freaked out knowing evil forces are still lurking. A security guard comes to her help but while they are checking on the surveillance cameras, something happens.

Cobra: The Space Pirate Fan-Made Teaser Trailer
Alexandre Aja’s big-budget, live-action version of “Cobra: The Space Pirate” won’t be landing for a while yet (if, that is, it actually makes it), but until then, check out a quickie fan-made teaser trailer from filmmaker Michael Paris. You don’t see much of Cobra himself, but I guess that’s the point. So what’s this Cobra guy all about? Set in the far future, the series tells of a man called Cobra, who lived an adventurous life until his enemies began to hunt him down. Cobra surgically altered his face and erased his own memory in order to hide from his foes and lead a normal life. He soon regains his memories and re-unites with his old partner Lady Armaroid and his ship Tortuga. Cobra travels the galaxy, fighting the outlaw Pirate Guild, but also fleeing the law-enforcing Milky Way Patrol. Along with his charm and wit,...
