Joe Sanders is an award-winning composer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans a diverse range of genres and media. Most recently, Joe composed score for Lego 2K Drive (nominated for Best Original Light Mix Score, New IP by the National Academy Of Video Game Trade Reviewers), film scores for Chasing Sundance (now streaming on Tubi) and Driving Forwards With Sophie Morgan, wrote music for romantic comedy films on the Hallmark Channel, contributed orchestrations and music production to Bowie Reimagined (recorded by David Bowie's touring band), and is currently composing the soundtrack for We Three Kings: The Irish Dance Christmas Spectacular, which will begin touring during the 2025 holiday season.
His music has been featured in over 100 different television programs, including professional sports (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, PGA, NASCAR), Next Level Chef, Selling Sunset, and Mira Quien Baila. He is a recipient of the Grand Prize in World Music and the Lennon Award from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for his song Kundiman.
Originally hailing from the worlds of classical violin and choral singing, Joe draws inspiration from a broad set of musical influences to continuously deliver distinctive music for each project he contributes to. His passion for storytelling through music is evident in his emotionally charged musical themes and unique sonic palettes. Whatever the project calls for musically, he relishes the opportunity to immerse himself in the creative process and contribute to the world-building of each production.
Joe is currently based in Santa Monica and is a graduate of the Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University, Long Beach.
