Conor Kennedy, known as a member of the Kennedy family and the son of the lawyer and recent anti-vaccine conspiracist Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has said that he returned from Ukraine after spending time there fighting as a soldier in secret.

He is the grandson American political icon Robert F. Kennedy.

Earlier this month, Kennedy wrote an Instagram post saying he enlisted in Ukraine’s International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine soon after he had learned of the Russian Invasion, as he was “moved by what I saw happening in Ukraine.”

Conor Kennedy, the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy and onetime boyfriend of Taylor Swift, has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor stemming from a December bar fight in Aspen, Colorado, People confirms.

The 22-year-old entered his plea through his lawyer in Aspen Municipal Court on Wednesday, a court spokeswoman tells People. (Conor was not required to attend.)
