When Quentin Tarantino hangs up his director's cap in a couple of years - the famed filmmaker promising his tenth film is his last - up-and-coming actor/writer/producer/director Keith Sutliff is only too happy to fill the void. Like Tarantino, the star and director of the gritty new crime throwback The Refuge worked as hard as he hustled to get where he is today - and as he tells us in this exclusive interview, it's only the beginning.

Come along for a ride in Keith Sutliff's feature film debut The Mason Brothers, a crime thriller inspired by Reservoir Dogs and The Untouchables, apparently. Sutliff's film will premiere at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles on April 11th before it begins a theatrical run on the 14th. We have been given an exclusive clip to share with you this morning.    The Mason Brothers (is) about a group of outlaws that attempt to reveal their brothers killer from a neighboring gang after being set up during a bank heist.   The clip is from the opening scene of the film. It has been some time since I sat down to watch a good heist movie, so when I received The Mason Brothers and read things like “Inspired by films like The Untouchables and Reservoir Dogs,” well call me an old romantic for those films in particular but that comparison made me give this one a shot for sure.

I’m going to put something right on front street when it comes to this movie. When it says “Inspired by Reservoir Dogs” it Really means inspired by… However as my esteemed podcast co-host said “there are worse movies to be inspired by”.
