YouTube Spaces had a big year in 2014, hosting events like Comedy Hack Day and #Tubeathon and welcoming a snazzy New York location into the Spaces family. But 2015 is set to be even bigger for all the United States-based Space establishments.
YouTube Space La and New York have several large residencies planned for 2015 with many of YouTube’s creators, as well as top-level media companies like Wired and Discovery Digital Networks.
Starting off the list of residents is Wired, who plans to make gaming and technology-themed programming and collaborate with YouTubers interested in the same topics at YouTube Space La. Wired will be the first Condé Nast Entertainment-owned property to use YouTube’s North American Spaces. Condé Nast is working with YouTube Space NY to secure some residencies for its other brands to mirror Wired’s presence in La.
