Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap made quite the impression with their Coachella debut, using their set to protest the Israel-Hamas War‘s devastating impact on Palestine.

The group has sparked backlash after their Weekend 2 performance on Friday at the Sonora stage, during which they projected “fuck Israel,” “free Palestine” and other messages of protest against US support of the Israel-Hamas war.

“Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people. It is being enabled by the US government who arm and fund Israel despite their war crimes,” the text read in photos shared on X by the group. “Fuck Israel. Free Palestine.”

After Coachella’s YouTube Live stream of their set was reportedly cut when they started an anti-Margaret Thatcher chant, the band wrote on X, “Not the only thing that was cut – our messaging on the US-backed genocide in Gaza somehow never appeared on screens either. Back next Friday Coachella and it’ll be sorted.

Although Coachella 2025 is nearly done, Lady Gaga brought her all to Weekend 2 of the music festival.

The 14x Grammy winner returned to the Coachella main stage on Friday, where her head mic began glitching during ‘Abracadabra’, her second track of the night, but she powered through the choreography and soon re-emerged with a working hand mic.

Ty Dolla $ign celebrated his 43rd birthday with a Sahara Stage set at Coachella, but the thematic focus of his performance wasn’t on himself, it was on his incarcerated brother, Big Tc. Midway through the set, Ty played a video featuring Big Tc singing from prison, accompanied live by an onstage choir.

On a stage decorated to resemble a prison yard — complete with chain link fences and barbed wire — the performers turned their back to the crowd and looked up towards the screen, which projected the video of Big Tc.

The video appeared to be on loop, and though not all the audible lyrics matched up with Big Tc’s lips (making it a bit unclear as to where the actual audio came from), the impact was clear, demonstrating Ty’s love for his brother and illustrating the pain of incarceration.

Ally fans rejoiced as Lady Gaga reprised her hit song from A Star Is Born (2018) for the first night of Coachella 2025.

On Friday, the same day the rapper dropped his long-awaited third studio album, he also broke a Spotify record. The audio streaming giant shared on Saturday that Music became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day in 2025 so far.

“Carti’s Music is already making history,” Spotify wrote on its official Instagram account.

Music comes five years after Carti released his second studio album, Whole Lotta Red, in 2020. Leading up to its release on Friday, the rapper had been teasing fans for months, including with Spotify’s help. The new album, simply titled Music, is Carti’s third album overall and his first since dropping Whole Lotta Red on Christmas Day back in 2020. The album is lengthy, clocking at an hour and 17 minutes with 30 songs, and it’s particularly star-studded with guest features from The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert and Young Thug and Kendrick Lamar.

Production on “Rolling Loud” is underway in Atlanta. The film is written, directed and produced by American High CEO Jeremy Garelick, who helmed Adam Sandler’s “Murder Mystery 2.” UTA Independent Film Group is representing worldwide rights to the film, which is set for release in 2026.

Kanye West addressed speculation about his relationship with wife Bianca Censori and made more hateful statements in a series of social media posts on Friday morning (February 7).

After the rapper’s wife walked the red carpet in a totally sheer, revealing dress at the 2025 Grammys over the weekend, a lip reader alleged that Kanye encouraged her to start “making a scene.”

This led to some speculation that he was controlling his wife’s behavior. He addressed those allegations, saying that he did “have dominion over” Bianca in posts on X (formerly Twitter).

Kanye proceeded to blast out a flurry of antisemitic posts on the platform. He also revealed the one rapper who has stood by his side through all of his controversies.

Don Lemon fired back at Kanye West after the controversial rapper called the former CNN host a “goofball” and claimed Lemon spread an incorrect rumor that West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were kicked out of the Grammys. Censori shocked the red carpet by wearing a nude outfit. The couple then left the event without ever going inside the Crypto.com Arena.

Don Lemon and Kanye West exchanged public messages on social media Monday following Lemon’s attempted interview with the rapper as he arrived to the Grammy Awards red carpet.

The feud began with a since-deleted post from West, who now goes by Ye, saying that Lemon — whom he called a “goofball” — started a rumor that Ye and his wife, Bianca Censori, were kicked out of the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

Ye and Censori’s arrival made waves when Censori took off her black coat to reveal a completely sheer dress without underwear. Rumors later swirled online that the couple had been escorted out because they were not invited, though this proved untrue.

Lemon responded to West’s post with a video. “First of all, Kanye, Yee, Ye, whatever your name is — I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys,” he said. “I actually corrected it.

After performances from Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan earlier in the evening, the six additional Best New Artist nominees took the stage for a fiery medley of their biggest songs. Shaboozey, Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Raye, Doechii, and Khruangbin performed back to back at the 2025 Grammys for a highlight set Sunday.

Reality star Apple Watts has bravely shared that her 2022 car accident was the result of her drinking and driving and has issued a warning to other drivers not to follow her example.

Watts, whose real name is Jontelle Layaye Watts, is a reality television star, model, dancer and singer who became famous after appearing on season five of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. She was also featured as a dancer in music videos for notable artists such as Snoop Dogg, Ty Dolla $ign and Chris Brown.

In March 2022, Watts was hospitalized after a near-fatal accident with a Ford F250 pickup truck in Baker, California. The collision reportedly saw her car flip over several times and burst into flames, and Watts sustained a shattered spine, fractured skull, and a broken arm. Kanye West is making his new music video a family affair.

On Wednesday (November 27), the 47-year-old rapper and Yuno Miles debuted the music video for their collab “Bomb” starring Kanye‘s daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6.

In the video, the girls drive around in the desert while being chased by various trolls and creatures.

The song was featured on Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign‘s second joint album Vultures 2, which was released back in August.

On Wednesday, Coachella announced Lady Gaga, Green Day and Post Malone as the three weekend headliners for the April music festival in Indio, CA, which features a long lineup of talents.

Gaga will headline Friday, April 11 and 18, along with sets from Missy Elliott, Benson Boone, Lisa, FKA Twigs, Glorilla, The Go-Go’s, Three 6 Mafia and more.

Green Day is set to perform Saturday, April 12 and 19, with openers including Charli Xcx, Misfits, Anitta, T-Pain, LA Phil, Jimmy Eat World, Alok and Yo Gabba Gabba!, to name a few.

Rounding out the festival on Sunday, April 13 and 20, Post Malone’s performance will be prefaced by Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, Jennie, Shaboozey, Ty Dolla $ign and more.
