If you’re like me and can’t get enough of whodunits with a side of laughs, you probably already know I’ve rounded up some of the best in the genre - check out the article here. Now, The CW is jumping into the mix with “Good Cop/Bad Cop,” a fresh take on the crime procedural with a comedic sibling twist. The show follows Lou (Leighton Meester) and Henry (Luke Cook), two detectives in a small Pacific Northwest town, trying to crack cases while dealing with quirky locals, a tight budget, and their tough-as-nails father/boss, played by Clancy Brown. The CW has been in flux in the last few years thanks to some big behind-the-scenes changeovers from Nexster and the cancellation of scores of fun shows. The network is now into acquiring productions from Canada and other nations to boost themselves.

Such a series is Good Cop/Bad Cop. The plot focuses on Lou and Henry, a brother and sister pair of cops with a quirky relationship. They serve on the same police force in a Pacific Northwest town under the tough, demanding police chief, who happens to be their father.

The CW, Roku & Stan’s ‘Good Cop/Bad Cop’ Adds Seven To Regular Cast

Exclusive: More cast has been set for Good Cop/Bad Cop, the one-hour procedural dramedy starring Leighton Meester, Clancy Brown and Luke Cook.

Devon Terrell, Grace Chow, Blazey Best, Philippa Northeast, William McKenna, Shamita Siva and Scott Lee have all joined the series, which is for The CW and The Roku Channel in the U.S. and Stan in Australia.

They will join Meester and Cook, who play an odd couple brother and sister detective team Lou and Henry in a small Pacific Northwest police force who work under police chief Big Hank (Brown), who happens to be their father.
