David Nguyen was born in Vietnam. He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting at the University of Houston. His editorial photograph has been published many time worldwide. Nguyen is a published multidisciplinary artist who focuses on photography and film making. Nguyen is inspired by the emotion induced by the dynamics between the motion of the camera and the actor. In 2015, he started his own film company called Ox Pictures and have produced and directed for videos for contemporary musicians like Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, and DJ Khaled to name a few.
