New Harry Potter TV Series' Arabella Stanton Shines in First Look at New Audible Adaptation
Image
As filming continues on HBO’s new Harry Potter series, a surprising new video has fans buzzing — and it’s not from the set. The spotlight instead lands on a different adaptation: Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions, Audible and Pottermore’s ambitious new reimagining of the classic novels. The cast features a star-studded roster of over 200 performers, but one name is generating particular excitement: Arabella Stanton, the young actress voicing Hermione Granger in the first three installments of the audio series.

In a new behind-the-scenes video released to promote the Audible project, Stanton appears alongside Frankie Treadaway (Harry Potter) and Max Lester (Ron Weasley) as the trio answer Potter-themed trivia questions. While all three are charming, Stanton’s performance is an undeniable standout — bursting with wit, confidence, and unmistakable Hermione energy. Her sharp timing, bookish poise, and youthful enthusiasm have many fans convinced that this is the exact moment...

Harry Potter Audiobook Full Cast Reveal: Arabella Stanton Gets Head Start Over HBO Co-Stars
Image
While HBO still celebrates the casting of its new Harry Potter trio, Arabella Stanton is on her second victory lap as Hermione Granger already. The 11-year-old British actress was announced as the nerdy successor to Emma Watson‘s Hogwarts character in HBO’s ambitious multi-season series this May (via Harry Potter).

A mere 2 months have passed, and Arabella Stanton now moves on to her second gig as Hermione Granger even before stepping over the threshold of Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross. While this gives the young actress a headstart over her peers at Hogwarts, a true fanatic would consider this exactly in tune with the personality of our favorite Muggle-born overachiever.

As of August 2025, the 11-year-old Arabella Stanton has overshadowed not only her predecessor, the formidable Emma Watson, in her...

New Harry Potter Project Casts the Biggest Names Yet
Image
As the world gears up to watch the new — and already highly anticipated — Harry Potter TV series, Pottermore took the opportunity to announce the cast of yet another adaptation of the novel series written by J.K. Rowling. Titled Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions, the project brought to life by Pottermore Publishing and Audible has rounded out a high-profile cast to bring the classic story to life in audio format. The new Audible editions start rolling out this November.

The new version differs from traditional audiobook readings because it features a full cast of 200+ voice actors, whereas the common practice is to have one person reading the full content. Pottermore Publishing spared no expense when selecting the main cast members for the project: Hugh Laurie (House) will play Albus Dumbledore, Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal) will voice Severus Snape, and Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who) will embody fan favorite Professor McGonagall.

New star-studded Harry Potter release marks a first for the franchise
Image
Right now, the Harry Potter franchise is entering a new era. The beloved original movies are all over a decade old at this point, and they still remain a cultural behemoth. Yet still, an all-new live-action adaptation has already begun filming, coming to HBO in 2027. And that's not all: Audible will soon debut a full-cast audio drama of the books.

Of course, Harry Potter has been around in audiobook form for years and years. Look no further than the version narrated by Stephen Fry, which is probably the most famous audiobook version of the story. However, the new project being cooked up by Audible is far from a traditional audiobook; it's a full-blown, ensemble cast audio dramatization. It adapts all seven novels in immersive Dolby Atmos, with an original score and real-world sound effects.

In recent years, Audible has published numerous immersive, ensemble adaptations of popular books. For instance, one...

Per Variety, Audible, in collaboration with Pottermore Publishing, is conjuring up Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions, a bold, immersive retelling of J.K. 'Wolf King' Team Celebrates Netflix Success With BTS Mini-Documentary [Exclusive]
Image
Last month, Netflix debuted yet another stunning-looking animated series. Wolf Kingroared into the streamer's catalog and quickly became one of 2025's earliest hits. In order to celebrate the series' performance, the Brain Audio team put together a mini-documentary that sheds a little light on the production process, and Collider can exclusively share this documentary with you. You can stream all episodes of Wolf King on Netflix, and check out the mini-documentary in this article.

The mini-documentary focuses on the sound design of Wolf King, which is a standout on its own. We get a glimpse into the often forgotten about Foley art, in which an artist gets to provide the sound of pretty much everything that you see onscreen, from the blade of a sword sliding across a surface to sounds that evoke the magic of the story. The mini-documentary also covers a bit of the sound design and how...

From The Page to The Screen, Netflix Attempts to Adapt Curtis Jobling’s Books With ‘Wolf King’ Using The Beautiful Art of Animation To Explore Self-Discovery
Image
Based on the ‘Wereworld’ novels by Curtis Jobling, ‘Wolf King’ attempts to explore the intricacies of humanity with a werewolf tale: Within the shadowed twilight of history, we have witnessed the continuous transfiguration of the Werewolf tale, with the latest manifestation being when Leigh Whannell’s ‘Wolf Man’ was released back in January of this year. The Werewolf lore has had a long legacy that has endured to the ever-shifting mythos, bending and warping through the ages, until we are left with the creature as we know it today. One of set interpretations unfolded within Curtis Jobling’s ‘Wereworld’ manuscript saga, which spanned until 2013 when the 6th and last book ‘War of the Werelords’ saw the light of day in October, whereupon they succeeded in cultivating a small yet fiercely loyal following, and despite the flames of its success not igniting in the realms of widespread acclaim, it carved a...

‘Wolf King’ Netflix Review: Gorgeously Animated High Fantasy Show Is An Entertaining Watch
Image
The story about the rightful heir to the throne returning to reclaim their kingdom is a tale as old as time. Probably the most popular iteration of this trope was seen in William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Then that was adapted in the form of Akira Kurosawa’s The Bad Sleep Well, Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff’s The Lion King, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider, and Robert Eggers’ The Northman. Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword had Arthur finding out about his royal heritage after pulling Excalibur from the stone. James Wan’s Aquaman had the titular character living as the son of a lighthouse keeper and then claiming his birthright as the ruler of Atlantis. S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning was about Siva’s discovery that he was the son of the titular prince. In Game of Thrones, Jon...
