Well-known actor Frank Whaley has taken another step behind the camera: "Like Sunday, Like Rain" stars Leighton Meester as a young, seemingly lost woman who is hired by a busy, rich mother (Debra Messing) to care for her son. The son is played by newcomer Julian Shatkin, who is earning accolades for his breakout performance. Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong also co-stars as a troubled boyfriend.
