Luke Grimes finally has a co-star in Y: Marshals. The upcoming CBS drama series serves as a sequel spinoff to Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone.
Per Deadline, Logan Marshall-Green has been cast to co-lead Y: Marshals as Pete Calvin, a friend from Kayce's time in the military. The actor is best known for his work in the horror movies Devil (2010) and The Invitation (2015) as well as Leigh Whannell's Upgrade (2018) and Ridley Scott’s Prometheus (2012). He also played the first Shocker in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and will next appear in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated The Odyssey, which is scheduled to hit theaters in July 2026. Marshall-Green also shares a striking resemblance to fellow Spider-Man actor Tom Hardy, with the two often being mistaken for one another by fans.
Ordered to series in May 2025 by CBS, Y: Marshals will see Grimes reprise his Yellowstone role as Kayce Dutton, as he joins an "elite unit of U.

The film descends from its precipice of initial shock into a fever dream of multiplying secrets. The characters’ strangely muted reactions to the foundational crisis feel less like a flaw in the script and a quiet symptom of existential paralysis, a defense mechanism against a truth too vast to emotionally process.
Ali and Jeff absorb the blow with a stillness that borders on the surreal, a psychological state of shock that allows the foreign element, Tom, to seep into the cracks of their broken home. Their passivity is the stillness of a world holding its breath before collapse.
Young Katie, now a stranger in her own life, is set adrift on a sea of uncertainty, and she finds a fleeting anchor in the handyman, Jordan. Their connection, presented initially as simple teenage solace, reveals itself to be another knot in a tangled lineage, a deeper, older secret lying dormant.

Drama, drama, drama. That’s the most accurate description of The Stranger in My Home. The psychological thriller sees Sophia Bush play Ali Mitchell, a mother whose life gets turned upside down when Tom Truby (Chris Carmack) appears on her doorstep and tells her that he’s her teenage daughter Katie’s (Amiah Miller) real father after a baby mix-up at the hospital. Sophia Bush and Chris Carmack were attracted to their characters for different reasons Image Credit: Paramount Pictures For Bush, she welcomed the opportunity to dive into such a juicy and drama-filled role as Ali. “I absolutely loved it,” she said. “From the moment I read the script, I was excited about it, and then being able to dive into the source material – the best-selling novel by Adele Parks – and really see how rich the story is for every single character.” In addition to this, Bush appreciated the...

The psychological thriller genre peaked in the ’90s, because even when the films weren’t great, they were still memorable. Jeff Fisher’s The Stranger in My Home feels like it belongs to that era. It’s messy, unbelievable, and all over the place – but it’s one heck of a time. It’s like the Marlena Evans possession story arc in Days of Our Lives, where everyone scoffed at in public but adored it in private. Based on the best-selling Adele Parks novel of the same name, The Stranger in My Home sees married couple Ali (Sophia Bush) and Jeff Mitchell’s (Chris Johnson) life turned upside down when Tom Truby (Chris Carmack) arrives on their doorstep and claims to be their teenage daughter Katie’s (Amiah Miller) real father. According to Tom, there was a mix-up at the hospital on the day in which Katie was born, so...

Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe has continued to expand on the heels of its massive success, with a slate of sequels and prequels currently in the works. And as much as fans are looking forward to its next chapter, 1944, with its dramatic backdrop of World War II reshaping the Dutton legacy, there’s another project that’s grabbed my attention even more.
And it’s not just about rugged ranch life or generational drama this time, it’s about a casting choice. I’m talking about The Madison, the upcoming spinoff featuring none other than Michelle Pfeiffer. The idea of Pfeiffer stepping into Sheridan’s gritty, layered storytelling is something I can’t wait to see unfold.

Yellowstone, the mega-hit neo-Western series from superproducer Taylor Sheridan, came to an end after five seasons in 2024, but the show’s universe continues to expand. There are five publicly announced sequels, prequels, and spinoffs in various stages of development. They’ll follow the prequels that have already aired, 1883 and 1923, as well as Sheridan’s collection of non-Yellowstone shows on Paramount+, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Lawmen, Lioness, and Landman. Here’s everything we know so far about each of Sheridan’s various Yellowstone expansions, from the forthcoming to the off in the distance.
Dutton Ranch
The most direct successor to Yellowstone is the sequel series focused on Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) hell-raising daughter, and her husband, tough ranch foreman Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser). While an official title has not been announced, Bloomberg reports that the project is tentatively titled Dutton Ranch, and is expected...

We recently learned some exciting news about several returning Taylor Sheridan shows from Paramount, but there was one particular title left out of the group. While we learned release windows for four of the prolific producer's television series coming later this fall, one of his highly anticipated Yellowstone spinoffs didn't receive an update on when to expect its release.
The Madison wasn't given a release window along with four highly anticipated Sheridan series. During an earnings call held by Paramount, the company revealed that Tulsa King season 3, Mayor of Kingstown season 4, Landman season 2, and Dutton Ranch would all premiere on Paramount+ between September and November 2025. The company also confirmed 1944 would release in 2026, and we also learned Kayce Dutton's spinoff arrives on CBS sometime next year..
Unfortunately, that list of titles didn't include The Madison, which was honestly expected to be released sometime in 2025 and still could, perhaps even this summer.

The Yellowstone universe is expanding once again, this time as a direct follow-up to the acclaimed Taylor Sheridan western drama. In addition to the spin-off starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, another sequel will follow a fan-favorite character from the 2018 series that started it all.
CBS is moving forward with Y: Marshals, an upcoming spin-off set after Yellowstone that will feature Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton. The show will follow Kayce as he joins an "elite unit of U.S. Marshals," but no other cast members have been announced. Sheridan serves as an executive producer on Y: Marshals, while former Seal Team producer Spencer Hudnut will handle showrunning duties. News of the spin-off was first reported back in March, but now CBS has officially picked up the series to join its midseason lineup. Check out the official logline below:

Last year, it was reported that The Righteous Gemstones creator Danny McBride had lined up his next series for HBO by way of the Grady Hendrix horror novel The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires. There's been little news on its development since then, and sadly, the project might not happen at all, according to McBride, who says that it's "sort of floating out there right now."
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about his life and career, the subject of the HBO vampire series came up, which is described as "Steel Magnolias meets Dracula." McBride was set to adapt Hendrix's best-selling novel with his Righteous Gemstones partner, Edi Patterson, after the project had previously been in development at Amazon and switched homes after a series of delays. Now it appears as if things have stalled yet again, with McBride noting that HBO has seemingly soured on the idea:...

"Yellowstone" might be over, but Taylor Sheridan and Paramount's hit franchise is a constantly growing juggernaut that shows no signs of slowing down. With "1883" and "1923" officially done and dusted, Sheridan and his trusty colleagues are working on even more spin-offs of the hit neo-Western series, which will continue exploring the Dutton family's present, history, and future.
As of this writing, there are five "Yellowstone" spin-offs in various stages of development. If they all go ahead as planned, we will be treated to stories set against the backdrop of historic real-world conflicts and be re-introduced to some fan-favorite characters following the events of "Yellowstone."
One show doesn't even feature the Duttons, which opens the door for the franchise to keep expanding after the main family's history has been milked harder than the cows that populate their ranch. So, without further ado, here is a list of every "Yellowstone...

Michelle Pfeiffer is currently filming “Margo’s Got Money Problems,” the Apple TV+ series adaptation of the bestselling novel co-starring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning, in Los Angeles. In the last 20 years or so, Pfeiffer says of the 23 projects she’s worked on, only three have shot in the city.
“That’s crazy,” the three-time Oscar nominee told me Friday, following her hand and footprint ceremony at the Tcl Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Like so many people in television and movies, Pfeiffer worries Los Angeles is on the verge of no longer being an industry town.

Set in the same universe as ‘Yellowstone,’ ‘The Madison’ will reveal a part of Montana that fans haven’t seen much of from Sheridan so far.
Sad that “Yellowstone” is likely over? There’s no reason for fans to fret; the show’s co-creator Taylor Sheridan isn’t ready to leave the universe of the Dutton family just yet. The next show set in that universe is titled “The Madison,” and will shift the scene slightly to a new part of Montana that likely went unexplored in the five-season run of “Yellowstone.” We’ll share all the information we have about the show, including cast details, where you’ll be able to stream it, and when we think it will be available below!

With the unprecedented success of Yellowstone in such a short amount of time and the expansion of its universe, it's clearer than ever that creator Taylor Sheridan has become one of the top talents in television. He's joined the likes of Ryan Murphy, Shonda Rhimes, Dick Wolf, and more with his uncanny ability to craft a surefire hit that the masses will devour.
Sheridan's reach extends beyond the Yellowstone universe with additional hit shows like Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Lioness, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, and his most recent hit Landman. While we hope to see Tulsa King, Landman, and Lioness officially renewed for more seasons, Sheridan already has plenty more shows already in the works to look forward to.

Taylor Sheridan isn’t the kind of guy who plays it safe, and apparently, he didn’t start now either. One Marvel star thought Sheridan’s plan for his hit series was completely bonkers — so much so that they doubted it could even survive five seasons.

While others stick to the rules, Sheridan’s writing feels like a high-stakes poker game where he keeps doubling down. Sure, it’s risky, but it’s also why his stories grab you by the collar and refuse to let go.

According to a press release, the final episode was watched by 13.1 million total viewers, making it the biggest episode in the series’ history. The second half of the fifth season was also the most-watched Yellowstone season on social media, with 619 million engagements—a 55% increase compared to the first half of the season.
The Yellowstone finale has concluded the tale of the Dutton family—but wait, not really. There are plenty of Yellowstone projects in development, including a potential spinoff series featuring Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly returning as Rip and Beth. There’s also The Madison, which has some serious star power behind it. The cast for The Madison continues to grow. Four more actors have joined the hotly-anticipated Yellowstone spinoff series, with one of the new additions already familiar with the franchise.
According to Variety, Kevin Zegers (The Rookie: Feds), Rebecca Spence (Lady in the Lake), Alaina Pollack (The Surrender) and Danielle Vasinova (The Bay) are the latest additions to The Madison cast, joining the previously announced Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Ben Schnetzer, and Amiah Miller. Vasinova may not be familiar yet to the Yellowstone fandom, but the actor has already wrapped a role in one of the franchise's other spinoffs, 1923 Season 2. For obvious reasons, Vasinova will not be reprising her 1923 role in the present-day-set The Madison; instead portraying Kestrel, "an indigenous woman married to a Montana rancher who lives with her family on a double-wide trailer on their ranch."

Taylor Sheridan is back at it with The Madison, his next big TV project and the follow-up to Yellowstone, and it’s shaping up to be another intense, character-driven drama. The series, set in Montana’s gorgeous Madison River Valley, follows a New York family trying to rebuild their lives after tragedy strikes. Leading the charge is Michelle Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn, a Manhattan socialite who moves her family west after losing her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash. Patrick J. Adams (Suits) steps in as Russell McIntosh, Stacy’s son-in-law, a city-dwelling investment banker suddenly tossed into rural life. The cast is stacked, too, with Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Amiah Miller, and Ben Schnetzer rounding things out, while Kurt Russell is also set to be part of things.

Patrick J. Adams has opened up about his decision to leave Suits after season 7. Adams had been with the series since its premiere playing Mike Ross, who Harvey Specter hires as an associate at the Pearson Hardman law firm. Despite having never attended law school himself, Mike's photographic memory earns him the upper hand. For seven seasons, the Suits character charmed fans with his wit. The Yellowstone Cinematic Yeehawniverse is continuing to expand with the highly anticipated spin-off, The Madison. According to a report by Variety, Ben Schnetzner has become the latest cowboy to saddle up to the expansion of Yellowstone, joining a massive ensemble cast full of A-list names that may put the original series into the shade. Schnetzer joins a cast that includes the likes of Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett and Amiah Miller. Schnetzer's character is named Van, and he is said to be a salt-of-the-earth and neighborly Montana rancher. Sounds about right for Yellowstone. The series, which was previously under the working title of "2024" is officially described as heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana. Kurt Russell is also reported to have signed on to the show, as per Yellowstone star Cole Hauser.

Yellowstone may be coming to an end later this year, but the world around it will continue in The Madison, an off-shoot of the mainline show which has already assembled an A-list cast. Michelle Pfeiffer stars as a mother, who, while grappling with tragic loss as the matriarch of a New York family, finds herself heading a group transplanted to the rural and rugged landscape of Montana. She's joined by Kurt Russell, Matthew Fox and Patrick J. Adams, while the cast is further boosted by Elle Chapman as Pfeiffer's daughter Paige; Beau Garrett as Abigail, the second daughter; and Amiah Miller as Abigail's eldest child.

We spoke with young actress Amiah Miller upon the release of her film Hold Your Breath, a period thriller where she plays the daughter of an increasingly troubled mom played by Emmy winner Sarah Paulson. It takes place back in the 1930s as a secluded Oklahoman community battles increasingly hostile dust storms while Paulson's character slowly loses her grip on reality. Miller is no stranger to period projects and will star in the upcoming Yellowstone spinoff The Madison alongside Michelle Pfeiffer.

While some productions are plagued by Covid-19, union disputes and scheduling conflicts, Karrie Crouse and Will Joines had their hands full with “rattlesnakes, lighting strikes, dust storms and locusts” while shooting their Dust Bowl-era horror, “Hold Your Breath.”
“There was one day where we had to stop shooting because an actual dust storm shut our shoot down,” Joines said. “Once the actual dust storm stopped, we all got back on location, cranked up a huge 20-foot fan and shoveled dust in it to make a fake dust storm.”
Luckily Crouse and Joines were spared from nature’s wrath at “Hold Your Breath’s” Los Angeles premiere Oct. 4 at the Harmony Gold Preview House. Sarah Paulson and the rest of the film’s leading cast joined the directing duo on the red carpet.
